chapter 10

DRAKES POV:

He held his head tightly and looked like he was going to be sick, he dropped down quickly and passed out. I carried him to the bathroom and cleaned him up, then put him into bed and let him rest watching over him hoping he would be ok.

I looked at his bandaged wrist and sobbed, why would he do that, before I knew it I was pacing around anxious as to if he was going to be ok, I found a letter crumpled and with blood on it, I picked it up and read it and looked at baileys face, realising what caused him to hurt himself.

That damn bastard.

“Ouch” bailey said weakly.

“Bailey, your awake” I said relived.

“Who the fuck are you” he shouted.

“I already told you im drake, and im here to help you” I said reassuring him.

“Oh, umm… ok” he whispered. He looked down and realized he had been changed and cleaned.

“Di-did you clean me up” he worried.

“Hehe yeah” I said scratching my head.

“So you saw the cuts and my privates?” he sobbed.

“Yes, but don’t worry I didn’t do anything to you” I said.

“Good” he sighed.

“We need to talk bailey” I stated.

“Why? And how do you know my name?” he asked scared.

“Well it’s a long story” I stated.

“And… I have all day” he said crossing his arms.

“Well you see… you’re my mate” I sighed.

“Hahaha ok, you have to come up with a better lie than that” he laughed.

“No it’s not a lie, im a werewolf, and I have been watching you for a while and I know you are my mate” I started.

“Prove it” he yawned.

“Which part? That your my mate or that im a werewolf?” I questioned.

“The werewolf part” he sighed.

He sat and laughed in disbelief as I told him everything about what I am and that he is my mate, but his eyes grew in shock when he saw me turn into my true form. Not long after I turned back into my human form to see bailey sitting there unchanged.

“Wow... Ok so you weren’t lying” he said surprised.

“Nope, and im not lying that your my mate either” I smiled.

“It may be true but I can’t be with you, there is someone else” he sobbed.

“What? You mean that damn devil? He doesn’t care about you as much as I do, I mean he left you didn’t he?” I yelled.

“How do you know about Lucifer?” he questioned.

“I did say I have been watching you for some time now” I whispered.

“How long….. Wait… never mind you told me that already three weeks right? So you saw everything that has been going on?” he yelled, kind of scared.

“Yeah I have been watching you and everything else” I sighed.

“WHAT SO YOUR TELLING ME THAT YOU HAVE BEEN WATCHING ME THIS WHOLE TIME AND HAVENT HELPED ME ONCE” He yelled loudly.

“How could i? Lucifer was around” I replied.

“NO, he wasn’t not then, you said three weeks right, well I was being bullied long before Lucifer showed up which was only like 2 days ago, so where were you when it mattered, some mate you are, you really care for me don’t you?” he sneered.

“I- I do care, I really do” I sobbed, I didn’t know how to respond, bailey was right, I never thought of it that way.

“Bullshit, just stop… I don’t want to hear any more from you” he said blatantly. 

“Please…. I just… im sorry” I said hoping he wouldn’t stay mad at me.

“GET OUT!!! Do NOT say you’re sorry, I don’t want to hear that, I don’t know you and I sure as hell don’t want to get to know you” he said coldly.

I nodded my head apologizing one more time and left, I was shocked how I could have been so stupid to have not helped before, bailey was right im a useless mate, I don’t deserve him.
