Bailey’s POV
“Will you be my boyfriend?” Lucifer asked.
“U-u-um…” I stuttered, I didn’t know what to say, do I say yes or do I say no, what if he gets sick of me, I started to panic again, I could feel tears forming in my eyes.
“Bailey what’s wrong?” he questioned worried.
“No, never mind, it’s nothing” I sniffed.
Lucifer grabbed my chin and lifted up so I was looking into his eyes, but I turned my head and closed my eyes trying to avoid them.
“Please…bailey look at me, tell me what’s on your mind” he said solemnly.
“I just…it’s just that…I mean…why me? Why would you want someone like me? Im a freak, im a loser, im fat and ugly, and all I do is hurt others or drive them away, I would only be a burden on you” I sobbed, Lucifer sat there gaping his mouth in shock to what I just said.
“Do you really have that low opinion of yourself?” he sighed.
“Yes” I nodded, and before I could do anything he pulled me into a tight hug and wouldn’t let go.
“I want to you understand something bailey, I love you, I fell in love with you the moment I met you, because your beautiful inside and out, I love your perfect imperfections, your little quirks and your personality, I don’t love you because of something as shallow as looks and body but if I have to add it in your body is sexy and so are your looks although you could do with a little more meat on your bones but no way in hell…excuse the pun… are you fat your far from it, and you are not a burden…nor will you ever be…so DON’T EVER think like that again bailey” he explained with such passion, no one has ever said anything like that to me before, so I didn’t know how to respond.
“So bailey…what do you say? Will you be mine?” he asked nervously.
“y-yes” I smiled hugging him tight.
“So now that its official, I was thinking lets go on a date” he stated excited.
“Cool, I’ve never been on one, sounds fun, where to?” I asked happy.
“Umm, wherever you would like” he smiled.
“Umm how about the carnival, I always wanted to go to one” I said hoping he would say yes.
“Sure ok” he grinned.
“Oh but um, wont people get a little suspicious if they see a minor with a adult let alone a teacher?” I asked worried again.
“Oh, I guess you’re right, well how about you bring a friend” he suggested.
“But won’t that ruin the date?” I sighed.
“No, it’ll still be fun” he explained.
“Umm ok, can we bring Ariel?” I hoped, I know she would love to come.
“Was that the girl from earlier?” he asked.
“Yeah, oh shit, what’s the time?” I asked in a panic.
“It’s late why?” he wondered.
“Because I promised her I would be back, I can’t leave her alone at a time like this, it’s her dead sisters birthday, shit” I exclaimed rushing to the door.
“Wait bailey, it’s too dark to go out” he sounded like a father.
“I don’t care, actually why don’t you drive me then, it’ll be quicker and safer” I convinced.
