Chapter 1 'The Move'

*Hailey's POV*

OKAY so i just found out that im moving from my favorite city and home city, Chicago. It's not even like im moving into some big city or anything.... nope, im moving into North Carolina. Moorseville, NC to be exact. TBH i didn't even know this place existed. I'm moving because my dad got a better job oppportunity and he accepted and it just happened to be there. I've lived here ever since i was born, cheering for the teams and I just  love Chicago and im gonna miss it so much! But most of all imma miss my friend. I've known most of them ever since kindergarten!

I have 2 more weeks before a new school, new possible friends, new house and a new life. Honestly, I was kinda scared :(

*2 WEEKS LATER*

I just finished packing and we're waiting for the movers to come and  I was in tears looking at my house so empty. And i remembered all the great memories i had here playing hide and go seek w/ my sister and dad, trick or treating w/ my friends and even my first play date! All the memories came pouring in my head as i sit there helplessly crying until the door bell rang...

"GO GET IT!" my mom yelled from across the house.

I did what i was told and got up and opened the door to see my 3 best friends standing there tearing up as we look at each other. It starting getting awkward so Jade broke the silence by attacking me in a hug and saying "I'm gonna miss you so much!"

"Me too!" Sophie and Arianna said joining the now group hug. And tbh i was gonna miss them more

Next thing i know im sobbing into their shoulders and we got a call from the lobby telling us the movers were here.

"Thx Tony, were gonna miss you too!" i heard my mom reply then hang up. For some reason this made me cry even more. 

We all went down the elevator. I hugged my three best friends one more time and helped my family put every thing in the movers truck then grabbed my suitcase and got in the taxi. I waved my friends goodbye and were off to the airport. My sister was hugging me while i cried my eyes out.

Oh i forgot to mention i had a 16 year old sister named Lindsey, she turned 16 last week actually and shes always been kinda my best friend, were always there for each other. DONT GET ME WRONG.... we always fight, but were always so close afterwards. She was also tearing up because her friends were there too.

"Don't worry were gonna have new friends and a gorgeous house girls." my mom said to us.

"Shes right" my sister relpied tearing up again and my dad sat there hugging me, i could tell he felt guilty about all this, but my mom was all for it since she could be a stay-at-home mom since the job payed so well. Maybe they were right, maybe it was for the best.

We arrived at the airport, went past security and got on the plane, I was sitting next to my sister and my parents were sitting in front of us. I put in my headphones, turned on some music and tried to enjoy the flight and forget about Chicago and everything i was leaving..... i just couldn't
