Chapter 11 'Volleyball Tryouts'

*Hayes POV*

OK so i really like Hailey but i dont think she likes me i hope we can get to know each other more and then i'll ask her out its lunch period and im looking at the activities with Hailey bc she really wants to do a sport like i play football and lax

"VOLLEYBALL!!!!' she screamed

"yeah shhhh people are staring" i said

she blushed and said "OMG this afternoon... but im still a little rusty, i haven't played till like october back in chicago.... it's may"

"The tryouts start at 5 so how about i'll go to the gym w/ u and ill help you practice" i offered 

"ok" she answered with a smile and then hugged me... i got butterflies

She let go and the bell rang

(3:00) *Hailey's POV*

Ok so school just ended and im waiting for Hayes... i started texting Jade, Sophie and Arianna (friends from back home) when suddenly those beautiful gorgeous eyes and hair that swept just the right way walked in "hey" he said

"hi" i said

"Lets start... grab a volleyball" he said and we practiced till 5

There were other girls there too and they would flirt w/ Hayes which annoyed the crap out of me but i ignored it, and then tryout started....... The girl that keeps giving me dirty looks was out to get me... we were playing teams and she decided she should spike the ball right at my face and i fell down and i wanted to open my eyes but i felt as if i couldn't... Hayes ran over and picked me up and sat on the bench with me still in his lap, he kissed my forehead, "hailey, are you ok?" he asked " I opened my eyes and thanked him...he was so sweet and some girls awed and some girls gave me dirty looks but all that mattered was that i was in Hayes Griers arms

Then the couch coughed and i remebered i had to get back to tryouts, "you ok" she asked

"fine" i said getting back on court

"yeah" i replied and when i got up all the girls were giving me dirty looks and i returned to practice...... 

I played and they said they would post the list tomorrow..... Hayes walked me home and then i ate and went to bed.....

I woke up the next day and did my daily routine.... i decided to eat some cereal and my sister drank some coffee... i woke up extra early to get to school to see if i made it... i didn't even wait for hayes.....

I got to school and the list still wasn't up and Hayes walked in... "Did you get in?!" he asked... 

"I still dont know" i replied and we waited...Then i saw someone come put up a neon pink sheet of paper... i grabbed Hayes's hand and dragged him over there

The list read: VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS

1. Jordan Griffs

2. Mellisa Hedgens

3. Hailey Collins

4. Julie Pl..... WAIT HAILEY COLLINS 

I was so happy and hayes looked at me he hugged me "Congrats"

" i couldnt have dont it w/out you" i replied

I smiled and i couldn't hold it in..... i kissed him... and he kissed back.... it felt so right and i didn't want the sparks and butterflies to end but i pulled away and looked into his eyes and i took in what just happened, he probably doesn't like you 

i didn't know what to do, I was so embaressed ... so i ran, i ran and ran to the bathroom.... i sat on the floor even though it was gross and just sat there, 'wat have i done' i thought to myself

the chapters will be getting really long and ik the begining sucks but i promise it gets better
