Chapter 26 'It's Not What It Looks Like'

*Haileys' POV*

i woke up with Hayes' arm around me still and i honestly just wanted to stay in his arms forever and i was so comfortable but i needed to get up so i looked at my clock at t was 8 o'clock and i slowly lifted his arm up waking him up, "Good morning hails" he said 

"morning, yuo can keep sleeping" i said

"no its ok" he said without hesitation, confusing me

he got up and so did i "nice bed head grier" i said gigling

"right back at cha" he said doing a cute hair flip

i laughed and we went down stairs

"good morning kidos" chad said

"morning dad" hayes said

"morning" i added on with a head nod

He was sitting drinking coffee and shawn and lindsey and elizabeth werent there

"where is everyone?' i asked

"linds and shawn are still sleeping ad elizabth went out to buy some groceries," chad said

"OK" i said

i grabbed some cereal, a bowl, milk and a spoon, and sat down, i prepared my cereal and so did hayes and we sat down and ate together, "it's been awhile since we sat down and talked alone" hayes said

"it's been like a week hayes" i said giggling

"but a week feels like a yeear without you" he continued

"hayes stop" i said lightly slapping his arm

"so what do you want to do today?" he asked

"oh sorry hayes but shawn and i have plans to write his song." i said

"i didn't know you were into music but ok" is all i heard but he mumbled something afterwards but i couldnt hear it, i ignored it but he got up and threw away  the rest of his cereal and stormed upstairs

and i looked at cahd confused and he was drinking his coffee with the newspaper in his hand with wide eyes, "what was thatt about" i asked

"who knows what when it comes to hayes" he chuckled,

and i laughed along, then lindsey came down and greeted chad and i but continued, "uh hailey" she said grabbing some coaco puffs "yeah" i waited for her continue

"i woke up hearing a slamed door and the only one with a closed door is hayes so what did you do" she asked

"tbh idek" i asked

"well do you know chad" she asked

and he replied with a simple no 

"ok then" she said sitting and eating cereal

I finished and Elizabeth walked in with paper bags and i helped her put the groceries back and while that was happening shawn was eating breakfest and i went upstairs and took a shower then put my hair in a side braid (it was getting late and i was lazy) then i put on a flowy dark grey short sleeve shirt with some ripped light colored jeans and then some grey converse and walked out of hayes' room (hayes and linds and sky were at the park but i stayed with shawn to help him) 

i found shawn and we decided that we shoud stay here instead of going to the diner bc their were most likely ppl at the diner and we didn't want to disturb buisness so we went in nashs room and decided today we would finish verse one and the chorus and connect them and it was 10 o'clock already so we started

"ok so lets finish the chorus first, what do you have so far again" i asked 

"we don't have to be ordinary, make your best mistakes, cause we dont have the time to be sorry, so baby be the life of the party" he sang strumming his guitar beautifuly looking at the music and he was just so perfect
