Chapter 17 "Jealousy" (Part 1)

oK guys DISCLAIMER This chapter is probably gonna be ok lenghthed bc i feel bad for not updating as much as i said i would and so BUT THERE ARE 2 PARTS BC I DONT WANNA OVERWHELM THIS CHAPTER

*Hayes' POV*

Hailey <3 XOXO: yes hayes it's because i likED you

Thats when it happened, the 'girl of my dreams' the only girl i really liked this much, the girl i've been waiting for just crushed my heart. Ik im only 13 ad i've known this girl for about 2 months ... but it's felt like forever! It was theequvalint of getting sucker punched .... mabe even worst

Its like she took my heart... ripped it in a billion pieces... stopmed on it then ran over the left over peices w/ a tracktor... i couldn't hold back... when i read that text i felt the tears slip away.. i couldn't control myself... i ran out and up to my room.. ignoring Lindsey, Nash, Mom and Chad.. sky was asleep.. i locked my door and shut the curtains..... i just wanted to be  alone...... and i started actually getting more mad then sad 

"Open up Honey" i heard mom

"Plz open up" my dad continued knocking

"Bro i just wanna talk" nash added

and lindsey texted me 

Lindsey ;): what happened... was it Hailey you can tell me <3

Just looking at her name made me cry more... "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE." i said kicking the door

i heard everyone leave, "come out when your ready to talk." my mom said

Then i got another alert

Lindsey ;): plz talk to me bud :(

i decided to respond , not rn i just want to be alone'

Lindsey ;): ok just tell me when your ready to talk and if it's about Hailey.. i think i might have some advice

ok thx.... :) nash is one lucky guy i responded

Lindsey ;): actually im the lucky one xoxo

her texting style was like Hailey

I layed down and saw my phone ring 

INCOMING CALL: HAILEY <3 XOXO

DECLINE

this went on about 5 times and she stopped,,, wow

Hailey <3 XOXO: We need to talk

i didn't respond.... i just layed hopelessly in bed until sleep took over my body

*Haileys' POV*

I saw the curtains jerk shut.. 

Jake replied, "What happened?"

he asked then before i could answer my mom came in... Jake blushed and took his hand away from me since it was around my waist

"WHAT DID YOU DO?" she asked

"nothing" i responded annoyed and ignoring her i wasnt in the mood

"HAILEY MCKENA COLLINS" she said

"Mom plz later i just texted Hayes and in my defense he was being pretty rude and watever." i responded

"Ok young lady u will tell me what happpened in about 10 miniuts and your knee looks fine... can you walk on it?" she said

i got up "yeah its fine just a little stiff" i responded

"Ok good... then tonight you will be going to the griers with an im sorry card and some brownies from the store." she said
