*Haileys' POV*
i heard footsteps behind me and jerked my head to see that it was Hayes.... i was scared at first confused as to who it was but i excpected if anyone was going to come to make me feel better it would be shawn.....
"Hayes?" i asked not completely sure it was him bc it was dark
"Hi" he said sitting down next to me
"hey" i replied quietly looking at the floor
it was silent, but i felt safe with him here, considering it was night and i was in a tank top i started to shiver bc it was cold and i put my hands over my arms trying to keep some heat
"ik you would be cold" he said taking of his sweatshirt and handing it to me, "no hayes, then you'll be cold." i said refusing the offer
"i also knew you would say that" he said putting his sweatshirt back on and grabbing a blanket he apparently brought with him, he wrapped it around me then sat back down
"you know me so well" i said
"ik" he replied and at that moment i felt like a princess again, like i had no problems and almost as if i forgot about shawn, i put my head on his shoulder and then he put his arm around my waist like shawn used to and i remembered, i don't deserve either of them.... i keep going behind their backs and they treat me like a princess anyways, lindsey was right, i needed to choose who i really liked, although i'm not dating them, i can't like both of them and lead both of them on
"Hayes, i'm sorry" i said
"for what" he asked even though he knew what for
"for going behind your back and kissing shawn"
"don't worry about it, ik you developed feelings for each other and he's really nice and treats you like some princess and i.... don't, i get jealous easily and prevent you from doing things that you love and i made you turn down some great guy like Jake and you don't deserve m-" and before he could finish i lifted my head up "you better not finish that sentance grier" i said
"ok" he said smiling, "it's been awhile since you called me grier" he continued
"i didn't know you liked it" i said
"well now you do"
*Hayes POV* (before he went to the deck)
"we kissed ok Hayes, we kissed and it was in the moment" she said raising her voice, she did like Shawn more then me, after everything we've been through... i sat there, i wanted to cry, but i couldn't i just sat there with my head down and i closed my eyes, it's as if i was crushed and i was so crushed that i just couldn't cry and when i heard the door slam and i noticed Hailey was gone.... i didn't know what to do I was just having mixed feelings about everything, i headed up the stairs, past shawn and shawn grabbed my arm, i looked up at him
"hayes i'm sorry man" he said
i just wanted to slap him, i just wanted to explode, but i felt as if i didn't have the energy and it was just useless, "watever" i said and waited for him to take his grip of my hand so i could finish the stairs and head up to my room when my mom came down, "what was that, who left" she asked scared, "hailey" shawn said
"where did she go" mom asked with wide eyes
"i dont know" shawn said geting worried
i did, i knew exacty where she was, she goes to the same place everytime she's upset and we always used to go there and talk, i decided to speak up
"i know where she is" i said
"where" my mom asked barely letting me finish my sentance
"wait, if you know where she is then you should go get her" shawn said winking
"fine" i said but only bc i knew she wanted to keep that place private for bad days
i grabbed a sweatshirt and put it on and then i saw a small blanket on the couch and grabbed it for hailey bc i knew she was probably cold
*Haileys* POV* (current)
"we should get home before my mom freaks" hayes said
"yeah" i said getting up with the blanket wrapped around me still keeping me warm and he got up and we walked home in silence
hayes opened the door with his key and i walked in and elizabeth and shawn were on the couch, "Hailey, i was worried" elizabeth came and hugged me
"i'm ok" i said hugging back and taking the blanket of me
i decided to head up and brush my teeth then hayes insisted that i sleep in his room and he slept on the couch bc i could sleep in skys room bc that would wake her up and i ended up exepting so i got in the bed when elizabeth walked in, "hey" she said sitting on the bed next to me
"shawn told me everything" she said
and i just stayed silent
"its ok" she said
"i feel bad" i replied
"i know you do, you need to choose" she said
"i can't and what do i choose, choose who i want to date? i like them both but i don't want to date them bc of drama" i said getting up
"you NEED to choose who you like, you don't need to date whoever you choose but you need to tell them who you like more and keep it easy with the person you let down" she said putting an emphasis on need
"but i can't choose, i don't deserve them both." i said
"ik you'll be able to choose eventually and i'm sure you'll make the right decision, just give it some time" she said
"goodnight" she continued smiling and turning the lights of
"goodnight" i said happy, i miss my mom so much, i call her everyday and facetime her but i still miss her, elizabeth was great, she acted just like my mom but elizabeth and Lindsey were right,
i need to choose.......
ok guys so i'll update tomorrow or after tomorrow definitly, i promise and who do you think she's going to choose?
