*Haileys POV*
I woke up and sky wasn't there and i assumed she was downstairs and i automatically went to bathroom and took a shower to fully wake me up and then put on some high waisted shorts and it was a little chilly so i put on my cameron sweatshirt (no offense hayes but cams merch is best) and shawn texted me (yes we live in the same house and text each other) to meet him downstairs to go to the diner for breakfest when were done
I love the diner so much and i have tons of employees i can go to for advice and i'm close with a lot of people there bc it's Hayes favorite diner/place to eat to and so i went downstairs and hayes was still asleep or something bc he wasn't there it was just shawn sitting on the couch on his phone, chad drinking coffe with elizabeth and sky "HI HAILLLLLEEEEEYYYYY" sky screamed
"morning kiddo" i said smiling
"hey hailey, so your sister will be here around 1 and shes coming by plane but on her way back ill be taking her by car and she is leaving around 6 in the afternnoon tomorrow adn i'll be taking her by car"chad said
it was really sweet of him to spend his time and money on gasoline for my sister
"thanks chad i'm sure shes thankfull for you to take the time of to take her back" i said smiling
"oh its nothing" he said pating my back
so hayes didn't come down so we decided to leave without him and bring him something bc we started getting really hungry, shawn took his guitar and some music and walked out
"shawn its really cloudy should we still go, wat if it rains?" i asked doubting the thought of leaving
"its finnneee hailey" he said
"ok" i said trusting him and we left for the diner
*Hayes POV*
I woke up late and went down stairs but i could find hail or shawn
"morning mom, wheres hail and shawn?" i askeed
"oh honey they let for the diner, they waited for you but it was getting late and they were hungry, ou missed them by like 3 min." mom said
i couldn't get mad at them for this, it was sweet of them to wait and it was really late
"ok" i said
i thought of meeting up with them at the diner but i got a text from a friend named Chris and he asked me to hang out and i said yes and decided i would stop at starbucks, i put on a davidson day sweater, some jeans and vans and headed downstairs
"hey dad im leaving to chris's and stopping at starbucks" i said as i opened the door
"ok but lindseys coming at 1 and she will get here around 2 so be back" he said, i looked at my phone and it was about 11:00
"cool" i said and walked out, it was raining but i took an umbrella bc chriss house was about 5-10 min away and starbucks was on the way and just before getting a text from hailey telling me her and shawn were staying at the diner till 1 bc she wanted to help him with his music? this confused me but i was being a jerk to shawn by giving him looks and i had to over look my jealousy and forget about it
*Haileys' POV*
we got to the diner there is usually a few people here but today it was empty and sara ( a middle aged kinda on the old side woman) greeted us
"hey sara" i said
"hey sweetie, whos this qt?" she asked
"shawn this is sara, sara, shawn" i said introducing them to each other, she gestured us to a booth and beforeletting me sit she whispered in my ear, "you still like hayes right, this isnt some boy your moving on with." she asked
"of coarse not." i said back
her daughter (a girl in her 20's named julia who i'm also close with) took our orders
i ordered some french toast and shawn ordered some waffles
"shawn we came to hang out, why did you bring your music" i asked
"sorry it's just the diner might give me inperation and i was thinking i could go to te park after breakfest and try to find something there before linds comes, plus i just want to finish it so i can practice till it's perfect and have about a week to spend with you" he said
and i blushed, "ok, hey let me see what you got so far" i said grabbing the papers when i heard a drizzling sound on the window "looks like the park isn't an idea anymore" i said looking out the window as it poured, "guess not" shawn said
I looked at his music
he had the first verse done and part of the chorus, i sang it in my head, "so wat do you think" shawn said
"it's awesome' i sadi giving him the papers and our food arived, "thx julia" i said
"np kid" she said
we ate and it was really good, "Hey shawn i think i have something for your song" i said while stacking the plates and pushing them aside getting an idea,
"really?" shawn said
"yeah but i think we should stay here till about 1 and work on your song till the rain stops and then we can head home" i said
"thats a great idea" shawn replied
I texted hayes telling him the plan and got a text back almost immedietly
Haaass <3: ok, ill be at chris' place until 1 and guess we will meet at home, i'll miss you :(
Me: shut up Grier *blushing emoji*
and i put my phone down
ok guys i decided to give you something tonight and the other half is so long and it's tomorrow and i have an idea for the chapter after that too and i'll probably write the chapter after that but post it some other time this week
