Chapter 31 'Friends Forever and It Was Nothing'

guys this is going to be a little different, this chapter was so short so i decided to make 2 parts

Part 1: 'Friends Forever'

Part 2: 'It Was Nothing

so here's part one-

*Haileys' POV*

I got up and headed home and Hayes opened the door and embraced me in a hug, "so glad your home" he said

"me too" i said and walked to the living room where shawn, hayes and elizabeth sat..... "so" hayes said

"i know who i like" i said

"ok" elizabeth said

"its hayes" i said quitely and my head shot up to see shawns reaction

he looked down at the ground, as if he was shot in the heart and hayes patted him on the back, i don't blame shawn, i really liked him, i mean we connected so much and i'm still not suer i made the right decision, but it seemed fair because Hayes was there from the begginig

"Shawn i-" i started

but he go up and went to nashs' room

"i'm going to go talk to him" i said getting up

i tried opening the door but it was locked,  i knocked adn he ignored me

i decided to go to bed early that day, i didn't even talk to Hayes bc i slept in skys room 

-Next Day-

I woke up and took a deep breath knowing i didn't have shawn anymore

I walked downstairs and took another asprin and ate some cereal, i didnt talk to anyone and sky was coming back later today, i just headed upstairs and Nashs' door was still locked

I could hear very vaigly a guitar but i wasn't sure, i walked to my suitcase and grabbed a plain black crop top and some ripped dark wash boyfriend jeans and my black vans and just decided to side braid my hair and apply some mascara, i looked out the window and saw shawn walking down the street i ran down the stairs and told elizabeth i was leaving to check on shawn and she told me he might want some space but i ignored it, nothing was going to stop me i walked out he door and he disapeered but i assumed he was at the lake since thats the one place we both like to go to alone and i was right he was there, i decided to slowly walk behind him so he wouldnt hear me and he was playing this new song..... and it sounded like it was about me but i ignored it and sat next to him and he tried getting up

"no" i said

"we're going to talk about this" i continued putting my hand on his

he sat back down, "i'm sorry" he said confusng me greatly

"what, why" i asked

"i came between you and Hayes and got mad when you chose him over me, but i can't control my feelings" he said

"i'm still not sure i made the right choice shawn" i said

"trust me, you did" he said looking down at the lake 

"you look really tired shawn" i said changing the subject

"i didn't sleep" he continued

"what why?!?" i asked 

"i couldn't and i working on something" he continued

"oh" is what i managed to say

"shawn, lets go home" i said getting up and offering my hand

he took it but i really didn't help, "i'll miss you" he said

"i'll miss you more..... friends?" i asked offering my hand for him to hold

"forever" he said with his amazing smile grabbing my hand and embracing me

"wait but the first time we kissed, i didn't know it was going to be the last" he said blushing

"it's not" i said kissing his lips one more time, it was more friendly and quick but i felt some sorta flash go off and i looked over and there was a teenager with her phone out, "shawn...." i said

"yeah" he asked

"i thik that girl just took a picture of us" i said getting worried

"i'm sure it was nothing" he said and we continued walking home

Part 2:

I got home and Hayes was there, he looked upset

"hey" i greeted

"hi" he said

"whats wrong hayesiepoo" i asked giggling

he handed shawn his phone and it was the picture of us kissing just now..... "no hayes" i said

"it was friendly and it was kinda like a 'goodbye' sorta thing" shawn continued

"i trust you guys but idk, are you sure?" hayes saidlooking kinda sad

"yeah hayes, i promise and just a quick reminder, we're still just friends too, i never said we were dating, i just confirmed i like you more then shawn" i said

"yeah ik" he said rolling his eyes

later that day i scrolled down the comments to the picture

@mendesqueen: wow what a slut, she goes for hayes then shawn

@grierlol: she needs to tame the thirst

@brbgrier: does she need to hit on every guy she sees

the comments went on and on and i decided to tweet somethig about it

@HaileyCollins: nothing's going on with me and shawn, it  was a friendly kiss that was supposed to clear things up, if i was dating shawn i would tell you guys ok

but all that did was get me more hate, shawn tweeted too

@ShawnMendes: guys please calm down, i love you guys but if i had something going on with anyone i would tell you guys first and it was a friendly type thing, please understand

but not even that stopped the hate

*Narrorator (3rd POV)*

So the week went by, Hailey and Shawn finally finished the song LIfe of the Party and they are ready to go to L.A and Hailey and Hayes went back to being close, but Shawn was hurt and he was working on something else..... something no one else knew about

SORRY FOR THE CRAPPY CHAPTER :( kinda cliffhangery, i wanted to rush the story at the end to keep it moving i'm starting school tomorrow, but i have THE BEST idea coming up here's a hint that i hope doesn't give it all away- 'The Weight'
