Chapter 5 'Hey There'

*Hailey's POV Still*

Then BOOM a football hit my head causing me to crash into a locker. 

I opened my eyes to see a cute guy w/ gorgeous blue eyes with his hand out offering help.. i took it and looked  at him..

"I'm so sorry" he said blushing

"Ha it's okay" i said stuttering

"I haven't seen u around... a-at all" he said stuttering adorably.

I stared at his gorgeous eyes and relized i wasn't answering "Oh ummm... i moved here from Chicago 2 days ago actually" i said with this small giggle that i regreted automatically afterwards. 

"C'MON HAYES, GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!!" his impatient friend said... i asumed it was his friend

"HOLD ON," he yelled then turned back to me "sorry, well my names Hayes if you didn't catch that, i hope to see you around soon." he said.

I laughed then responded, "Oh well my names Hailey and same here." 

"HAYYYEESSSS STOP FLIRTING AND LETS FINISH BEFORE THE BELL RINGS." another friend yelled.

He gave him a death glare then yelled, "HOLD YOUR IMPATIENT ASSES" he turned around saw me and turned so red, it was adorable. "Sorry, let me see your schedule real quick."he said.

I handed him my schedule and he responded with a "We have english, chemistry, history and french together."

"Awesome!" i said 

"Well i'm gonna go before my friends explode.... see ya at english" he said.

"Yeah" is what i managedto say.

*Hayes's POV*

I hit this girl and i ran over to help her i put out my arm and once she let of her head she revealed these amazing hazel eyes with brown hair that was kinda messy, but i loved it. I must've looked like an idiot out there because i stuttered and turned red every second nd my friends were being so freakin rude and ruined it. No girl has ever made me feel this embarrased.. idk but i never thought i would say this... i cant wait ttill english.

*Hailey's POV Again*

I made it throught the first 2 calsses late bc i kept looking for the classes. Now its english and i wallked in late and took one of the last seats in the back. there were 2 seats empty next to me. I looked over and remembered Hayes was in this class...... what a surprise a girl was flirting w/ him... he seemed like the popular type and for some reason it made me jealous, i ignored it and when she finished he got up and moved next to me

"Hi" he said

i blushed like an idiot and responded with a simple "hey"

And then the girl looked over at us and she  looked annoyed she got up and came and sat next to Hayes. He rolled his eyes and i didn't do anything bc i really didn't want to develop any enemies.

*END OF THE DAY*

So I got through the day and it was actually pretty ok. i found out i was locker neighbors w/ Hayes. I was waiting for lindsey outside and i texted my friends from back home and my 2 new friends.... not including Hayes bc i didn't get his number. Hayes seems too popular for me and i don't think he would ever like a girl like me. But something about the idea of us together made me weak. Lindsey walked out anD said "Sorry im late i was talking to..... someone" She told me his name was Nash and we walked home talking about our days.

"if i didn't know any better i would say u like this Hayes kid." she said 

I didn't know what to say so i just said, "Watever, but if i didnt know any better i would say you liked this Nash guy." 

She rolled her eyes and blushed and we just walked home in silence the rest of the way there
