Chapter 6 'Hallucinations?'

*Hayes POV*

I really like Hailey and i'm planning to ask her out like in a week. But we barely know each other so maybe like in a month, i just need to get to know her more but she is so gorgeous. Wait, she probably doesn't even like you...  All these thoughts came into my head as i went to football practice I gathered my stuff and started walking home, a hand touched my shoulder i looked back...

"Oh hey coach" i said noticing it was my coach. (ik his dad is his coach in real life but in this story i wanted it like this)

"hey sport" he replied, then he continued "you weren't really into todays practice is everything alright?"he asked

i just nodded.. coach was like one of my dad's he cared for me and all "ik somethings on your mind and if you wanna talk about it... im here for u" he said patting my shoulder

I just nodded again and something gave me the urge to run... so i ran and ran till i got home. I opened the door.

"Hey hun," my mom said 

"Hi" i said starting up the stairs

"Wait, take a shower and come down and plz take these brownies to our new neighbors w/ Nash and Sky."

"K" i said then leaned in for a hug... then she stopped me and said "After you shower plz and we  are going to be having dinner w/ the new neighbors too, i became close friends with her and i heard she had 2 kids" 

wow i just got rejected by my own mother i sighed and went up to the shower and started

*Hailey's POV*

I heard neighbors were coming over for dinner... the griers i think it was. Im happy that my mom made a friendship with the neighbor Elizabeth so quickly. I changed into some sweats since it was 4 and the dinner was at 7:30. I took my laptop and went out in the balcony and sat on this new chair my sister gave to me. I facetimed my friends and told them everything that happened.. even Hayes...

"OOOOOHHHH" they all said "someone has a little crushey wushey." Ari continued

I rolled my eyes and ignored them then i decided to go and log onto twitter. Just as i was logging on I looked up at the neighbors and i swear i saw Hayes through the window... The person had a balcony too, our houses were quite similar actually... i thought it was my mind playing a trick on me and ignored it. (the balconies face each other)

*Hayes's POV*

I got out of the shower and thought i saw Hailey at the neighbors house, i was too lazy to check and just thought it was too good to be true plus Nash and Sky were waiting w/ some brownies so i walked down stairs and Nash took the brownies and we walked out the door.

Their house is litterally exactly next to ours so sky wanted to ring the doorbell so i picked her up and she pressed the button. Then the neighbor opened the door....

"Oh hi how sweet, you must me Elizebeths kids."

We nodded "HI" nash replied... she looks like she could be Haileys' mom but i thought i was just hallucinating so i ignored it 

She offered cookies and we took a plate "See you at dinner" she said politely

"k bye, thx for the cookies." Nash replied, she must think Sky and i dont talk bc we litterlly said nothing the whole time there, i just thought about Hailey and how the neighbor could pass as her mother.

*Hailey's POV*

Its now around 5 and Lindsey left to go to dunkin donuts with her new friends about half an hour ago. I heard people come in and talk to mom and just thought it was some neighbors. I heard someone walking in front of the balcony so i looked it was this adorable blonde girl and what looked like Hayes and another cute older guy... WAIT HAYES...... they walked into the house next door and once again i asumed it was just my hallucinations and ignored it, i also couldn't see the faces so i couldn't tell...... i must really like Hayes bc i can't stop seeing him... im sure he dosen't even think of me though and i honestly i think if i have the best luck in the world and he actually likes me... i think we should just stay friends but  I hope those were the neighbors coming over bc they had some other kids to hang w/ :) 

ok guys as promised the chapters are getting longer and i will update again today bc loner ilygsm
