Chapter 2
I could drive since I am now 16 in a half.
I had work after school today and I work at a gas station near my house. Today was my last day of school and I was ready to just go home and relax."Hi Lay," my co-worker said. I smiled and replied.
"Hey how are you?"
"Tired, I'm glad you're here, it gets boring without you," she scanned a product that someone was buying and bagged it.
"Thank you have a nice day," she said to the lady buying the drink.
I put my name tag on that I was required to wear. The store was really quite at this time. I decided to organize the cash register. I wasn't allowed to sell alcohol or anything that someone under 21 isn't suppose to have.
"Lay look it that hottie over there," she nudged me and pointed her head to where she wanted me to look,"damn," she said biting her lip.
I glanced up and smiled but didn't even realize who I was looking at. It was Luna's step-brother, Wesley. He was walking in and went directly to the counter. Wesley grabbed a pack of gum and then stood right in front of my co-worker Kim.
"A Pack of Original camels (cigarettes)," he said. She was 20, but the owner made an exception.
"Um yeah here," she grasped a box and put it on the counter. Your total is $10.45." she gave him a wink.
He handed her the money and gave a small smile. When he was about to walk out he gave me a small look that seemed so angry. I don't know what I did, and I began to tremble a little. Why am I scared of him?
"Wow, seems like he didn't like you," she laughed.
"Uh yeah, whatever, did you even ask him for I.D?," I questioned her.
"Sh*t," she punched the table.
"Next time don't get distracted," I said.
"Kay why are you so serious today? we usually have fun."
"It doesn't matter, I'm just wanting this day to be over so I can just be myself for 2 months, my mom isn't letting me audition till next year for the X Factor, I'm thinking of just driving there without her knowing."
"Welcome to the rebel world," she laughed,"I'm sorry."
I smirked,"It's fine Kim."
After work, I went home to an empty house. No one was home but I kinda like it that way. My brother Lucas was out from what the note said on the counter. Probably with some of his annoying friends. I have 2 hours for myself. He said he would be home at 7 and it's 5 right now.
I started drawing and sketching just random things.
I felt my phone vibrate.
I opened the text and read. From: Luna

Bye:)I locked my phone and continued drawing. My picture was turning out real nice actually, better than they usually do.
Then I turned off the Tv so I can concentrate better and maybe take a nap.
I let out a deep sigh and fell back on the couch, closing my eyes.
Suddenly, I heard someone walking outside, they were stepping on something but I don't know. I got up a a little onto my elbows and looked out the window.
"What the hell?" We had about 6 windows on one wall and Wesley walked past each one of them.
I ran to the patio door and opened it. When I went to go yell out to him to tell him to go away, I couldn't, because he was gone.
