Chapter 15
With a few more days left in the cabin. Luna keeps leaving me alone with Wesley and it's really irritating. It's like she goes completely blonde. She usually says," I'm gonna get a snack," or ," I need to call someone real quick."
No Luna. Stay here, do you think I like being alone with this annoying guy? Nope!
"Why did you ask me that the other day?" he questioned sitting next to me while Luna was out once again.
"Why did I ask you what?"
"If I liked you a little."
"I was drunk kay? I didn't know."
"Well...okay, but you should consider this..." he kissed me quick and my back laid on the ground. His body was on top of mine and he was giving rough kisses. Why was I kissing this fool back?
"Layla I-"
Me and Wesley quickly sat up and I looked down at my phone then up to Luna.
She gave a confused face then continued her sentence.
"I was gonna say...I was talking to your mom and she wanted me to tell you she loves you and misses you."
I smiled.
"Well I love her too."
"Since this is the last time I'll probably see this place, I'm going to the tree," I for some odd reason winked at Wesley secretly.
"Okay well I'll be in the lake," Luna said.
"I'm gonna just search around the woods, see if I can find that thing James and I saw," he got up and separate, we walked outside.
I went to the tree and sat on the long log by the river. I waited for him, and it took about 10 minutes but he came.
"I was hoping you got the hint."
"Come here, I want to show you something," he ran to me and grabbed my hand. Then, he kept running until we hit trees that were blossoming. The petals were pink and the tree was a dark brown. The grass was a perfect green, and under that tree, was a wooden swing, fit for two people. Wesley took me to it and we sat down.
"Well this was a sudden change of events," I looked around, eyes widened,"For someone like you...this is actually, really romantic," I smiled and leaned on his shoulder.
WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING?
Was I possessed or something! If anyone found out about this I would be dead. But...like Luna said...the last time I had a boyfriend was in 6th grade, I have never even been romantic with someone. No one has ever liked me that way. I think my mind and heart were just taking this one opportunity to show me what I am missing out on.
"We have to keep this secret..." he said.
I didn't say anything back because this is a one time thing. I'm not doing it again.
"Hey," he put his hand under my chin and looked me in the eyes.
"What?"
Then he started laughing and kissed me smoothly. His other hand went on my waist. He got closer and I was leaning up against the rope that held up the swing. I climbed onto his lap and he kissed me that way. Like in the movies. I couldn't believe that something like that would even happen to me.
My hands went around his face and I smiled.
"You're amazing," he said to me.
I rolled my eyes and continued kissing him.
"Layla! Wesley!" We head Luna yell really loudly.
I sighed.
"We better get going," when I went to go climb off his lap, he stood up and held me in his arms.
"Yep lets go!" he ran through the thick dark green grass. I held onto him tightly and began laughing.
"Wesley hehe stop!"
"Vrooooom!" he swerved.
"I'm not a kid!" I chuckled.
We kept going until we needed to separate and act like we were coming from different ways.
"Bye," I showed a small smile.
Wesley decreased the distance between us and held my face, kissing me slowly.
"I'll see you...soon," he winked.
I continued to do a small smile.
I wasn't going to do this again. Luna will find out and she will tell me how bad of a person he is, and that he is just using me, and I'll say I all ready know because I do and all of that will just be crazy drama and I don't want that.
"Guys! Where were you?"
"I? I was at the tree like I said I was going to be," I explained.
"I was just-around you know," he shrugged.
"Okay well I just remembered that...um we need to-to start packing," she stuttered.
"Luna...we are not on a time limit, we can just pack tomorrow," Wesley said.
"Yeah, why are you being weird?" I asked.
"Well yeah thats a good idea, I guess we could, oh, okay you can do whatever now."
I gave Wesley a confused face. She may be onto something. She might know slightly whats going on.
"I'm just gonna chill here now, probably swim." I began walking inside to get my bikini on.
"Right, same," Wesley followed. What the heck was he doing? This wasn't making it any better.
"Me too! I'll be in there...with James and Scott, they are in there already," She ran over to the dock. She had all ready been swimming for a little bit.
Once we got inside, I gave Wesley an evil look.
"What?" he questioned.
"What do you mean what? I think she suspects something! did you see the way she was acting?"
"Yeah but I think we are fine, Luna just let's things go. I think she could careless in the long run," he replied.
"Wesley. Listen...I'm her best friend for one. Of course she is gonna care! Especially when she doesn't even like you! She literally thinks you are the most terrible person in the world!"
"Really?"
"Yes!"
"Sweet," he clenched his fist.
"No not sweet!"
"Whatever just get your bathing suit on," he went into his room.
I groaned and got mine on.
This last day was going to be bad, I could tell.
