i kiss him back gently but then i come to my senses and pull away instantly, i see a look of hurt spread over his expression.

"he'll kill you" i tell him and he just looks at me in confusion.

"who is he? your always referring to him but who the hell is he? why can't you just call the police?!" he yells.

i look at jaehwan and raise my hand to caress but i pull back last second.

"jeonghan. he runs the institute. he enforces the rules. he will kill you if we pursue a relationship. please i don't want you to die."

"but you like me as well. i can tell. i can see it in your eyes, besides, you kissed me back" his voices breaks mid-sentence.

"i do like you, i love you jaehwan" i feel myself growing upset as i try to reason with him.

"but we can't be together. i can't protect you from him, he is stronger than me. there will be nothing that i can do to stop him if he attacks you."

"i don't care" he grabs my hand and wraps his fingers through mine.

"i would be more then happy to die if i had known that we had been happy together for a while beforehand. i would be happy to die if it meant i got to spend time as yours."

my heart just about melts as he speaks.

taekwoon said nearly the exact same thing to me when i stressed it to him all those years ago.

"besides, if i die, doesn't that mean i'll join you guys?" he ask quietly and i remain silent for s few moments and i take in what he just said.

"ah yes, theoretically but jeonghan would probably kill you again to make sure you never saw me again."

"why don't we kill jeonghan?" he suggests and i chuckle and break our eye contact.

"i wish, but we aren't strong enough. the only one who can harm him is someone he loves. he doesn't love anyone so that may be a bit hard."

"i just have one wish wonshik" he lowers his voice and i shave to strain my ears so i can hear him.

"let me die as yours. let me die with you being mine."

i breath a shaky breath and stand from the chair. he stands and walks over to me.

he places the palms of his hands on my chest and looks me over before his eyes meet mine.

"please."

i ignore the pain in my stomach as i press my lips against his to answer him.

arriving back at the institute, i find myself fearing what is going to be the outcome of this trip.

i left having broke one rule and returned having broken two.

jeonghan will surely kill me for this. 

i go straight to his office. hongbin chases after me and stops me out the front of the door.

"how could you?" he sobs.

"i'll be fine. go train taeyong more or something" i say simply and he just frowns.

"taeyong's been assigned a person, this kid called yuta."

"that's great news" i avoid eye contact at all costs. seeing him upset will only make me upset.

"i have to go in" i point at the door and he grabs my arm.

"don't. not yet, wait until we figure something out" he begs me.

"i'm sorry hongbin" i shake off his grip and walk into the office.

jeonghan doesn't greet me. he doesn't so much as lift his head.

he just walks over to me and grabs my arm.

i feel a sharp pain shoot through my veins as he does something to my time.

he lets go after a few minutes and i look at my wrist.

"you have four months to leave jaehwan alone. by the end of those four months, if the two of you haven't split...i will kill you." jeonghan explains the terms.

i breath heavily as though i just ran a marathon.

i don't say anything as i leave his office again.

hongbin stands on the other side of the door. by the look on his face i know he heard the whole thing.

"you have to let him go" he states and i shake my head.

"i can't."

A/N - what will happen to wonshik? will he be able to let jaehwan go?
