Fate [ HRVY ]

Chapter 3

       I woke up to my alarm buzzing and i felt like my head was going to explode. Staying awake till 3 am was not going to help today.
      I took a quick shower put on mascara and lip balm ,after i brushed my teeth, put on my grey ripped jeans with dark grey cropped long sleeved shirt and a black coat and hurried downstairs to get some breakfast.
   "Morning" i greeted my brother who just hummed back in response.
   I sat down after I grabbed a bowl some milk and cornflakes and ate in a rush .
    As soon as I finished eating i got up to prepare my lunch.
I placed my pre-chopped strawberries , a granola bar and a bottle of orange juice in my lunch bag.
"Ellie we have to leave now."
"Coming" i said as i followed look out the door after i grabbed my bag and lunch bag.

     When we reached the school, my palms started to sweat.Nervousness. 

     Although I'm seventeen my mom still didnt approve of me driving my own car so Lucas, who is 18 ,had to drive us there.
     "Here goes nothing." I whispered.
  "Good luck babe.I'll meet you hear at the end of the day yeah?"
"Yeah sure" I replied not having listened to what he said.
Lucas chuckled realizing that i wasnt listening before he walked away.
   I walked through the school gates and started looking for my locker.
   As soon as I reached the locker i opened it and placed my lunch and my bag after taking out the books that i need.
   I was about to walk away when I bumped into my locker neighbor.
"I'm really sorry. i didnt see you . Are you okay?" I apologized
  "It's fine. No worries." She answered smiling."you're the new kid right?"
"It's that obvious huh?"
"I just have never seen you around before" she shrugged "what do you have for first period?"
  "Math"
"Come on I'll walk with you. I also have math. I'm Gemma by the way."
"Elliana"
As we were walking to our first period  chatting I felt my nerves slowly fade away and my body relax. This wasn't going to that bad after all.

I had chemistry for my third period. Gemma and I had several classes in common though she doesnt have chemistry right now.
  I went to my locker to retrieve my chemistry book and walked into the class.
  "Oh I almost forgot,class we have a new student. Why dont you go take a seat next to liam at the back." Said The chemistry teacher whom I still dont know the name of as soonasI stepped into class.
   I was sure I looked like a tomato while walking to back of the class as instructed.
Liam my ,lab partner , had dark brown hair and a sharp jawline. His eyes had the wierdest color combination but they were perfect for his face. He was muscular. You could see his muscles through his white t-shirt and a couple of scattered tattoos.
To say the least he looked hot but he gave of a weird somewhat dangerous vibe.
"You done staring, princess?" He said smirking.
"I-uh..-s-sorry. I-" I stuttered embarrassed that i had been caught.
"And to be clear I'm not helping with any of the work"
Okay. Now that was rude.
"Yeah,whatever"
   I started working on the worksheet in front of me ignoring Liam's remarks and before I realized the bell rang.
"See you around,new girl"said Liam before walking out of the class.
    I grabbed my books and went out into the hallway to look for the cafeteria.
      
      After getting lost, twice might I add, i finally make it.
The cafeteria wasnt that big but it wasnt small either and it was crowded as hell.
       "Hey elliana why dont you sit with us today so that you wont be alone yeah ?" Gemma said as I  passed by their table to look for a place to sit .
  I looked around the table and saw liam sitting with them. I wanted to say no as soon as I saw him but I really didnt want to sit alone during lunch so I agreed .
  Dont get me wrong Liam is hot but i hated his attitude.
   I took the only empty seat which left me sitting between liam and a girl I didnt know .
There were 2 other girls with gemma and a boy other than liam but he wasnt as attractive.
   "Okay , this is liam, andrew ,and christy. Guys this is elliana" Gemma said introducing us.
  Andrew had light brown hair with a few blond stranded while christy had dark black curly hair.
       "Hi" I greeted everyone unpacking my lunch at the same time.
" it's nice to meet you elliana " replied andrew while munching on his food.
  " so how is your day so far?" Asked christy
" fine,i guess."
" what did u have your first 3 periods and after lunch ?" Questioned andrew
" i had math,English literatur,and chemistry and I have gym after lunch."
"So you have first and second period with me third with liam and forth with andrew " informed me Gemma .
"Yeah liam and I are actually lab partners." i answered eating my strawberries.
Liam has been silent for the whole time . Now everyone is staring at him after what I said and he's glaring at me. I dont know why maybe I wasnt supposed to mention that we were partners? 

   The whole table went silent after that till the end of lunch. There was some kind of tension after what I said and I started to wonder if I should apologize and leave the table.
    
    "Dont worry about liam something is probably bothering him."assured me Gemma while walking with me to our lockers.
" yeah i get it" i said  as I grabbed my gym clothes but not giving much thought  about what happened.
  I met andrew next to his locker cause it was closer to the gymnasium and started walking to gym class silently.
I am not really worried about gym class considering that I'm a gymnast and play soccer(growing up with a brother).
  When we reach the locker rooms andrew and I went out seperate ways to change into our gym clothes and head to the gymnasium.

I am done with school for today and I am beyond exhausted. I am currently waiting by the gates for Lucas to show up when the last person I expected walked up to me.
"Hey. Um... i just wanted to apologize for the way acted I was just upset about uh..... something so sorry. Can we pretend like today never happened?" Says liam .

   "It's okay. And yeah sure. "
"I'll see you tomorrow ?" He aksed as soon as my brother came into view.
"Yeah. Bye,Liam" i smiled and started walking towards the car.

       Today didnt turn out as bad as I thought. To be completely honest it was good. it might  take some time to adapt to the lifestyle here but nonetheless it was a good day.
And I think I found my group of friends, for now anyway.

A/N long chapter 😅. I wrote it on the bus on my way to the school so it's not that great but yeah....
