Today it was pouring outside, so it was impossible to go out and do anything. This bummed out you and Finn, because it was the weekend after all and you're at school all week.
"Ugh, hopefully it'll stop soon. I hate the rain." You say, looking out the window.
"I don't totally hate the rain. It just means even more alone time with you in the house." Finn says, giving you a wink.
"Haha, very funny Wolfhard. But I'm hungry. What do we have to eat?" You ask, walking over to the cupboard.
"Well since going to the grocery store was something we were supposed to do today, we don't have much." Finn says.
"Ooh, we have cereal." You say, pulling out a box of Frosted Flakes. "Want a bowl?"
"Sure babe. Extra cereal." You pour two bowls of Frosted Flakes and sit at your small dining table with Finn.
Finn starts laughing. "I can't believe that we're eating cereal for lunch."
"Yeah, it is pretty funny. But I do love cereal."
"You know what would make this even better?"
"I swear to god Finn if you're about to suggest som-,"
"No!" He laughs. "I meant," He gets up and turns on the record player. "Some music."
Some indie record that Finn loves starts playing. He gets up and offers you his hand.
"Shall we dance?" He asks.
"But my cereal." You say.
"There's more cereal." Finn laughs. You take his hand and he pulls you out of the chair and into his arms.
His hands go around your waist and yours go on his shoulders. The both of you move to the music while you stare into each other's eyes.
Finn spins you and you giggle as he catches you, wrapping you up in his hold. He's positioned in back of you and starts to whisper something in your ear.
"Who else is gonna spend my time, who else is gonna be mine..." You didn't realize that he was singing along with the music at first because you were so mesmerized with him.
"I'm so in love with you Finn."
"I can say the same of you, y/n." Finn twirled you around before you shared a kiss and then sat back down to eat a new bowl of cereal.
