(This is actually based off a dream I had last night so enjoy the randomness of my mind )
Today was not supposed to be a fun day. Your brother Shane was leaving for a year to Africa for his college studies. He got a connecting flight through Vancouver so that you could see him before he left. (Yep you guessed it Shane Dawson was in my dream last night so there you go lmao)
Finn went with you because he knows how you can get gloomy in times like this. Before Shane was set to leave, you met him at an airport restaurant for lunch.
"Shane!" You see him sitting at a table and two seats for you and Finn.
You rush over to hug him and then sit down.
"Y/n oh my god I'm so happy to see you. I know it's only been since Christmas but I miss you so much. And Finn thank you for keeping my little sister safe and happy when I'm away from her."
Finn nods. "It's my pleasure, man."
Shane's layover was not very long. It was only about two hours or so, meaning that you had to say goodbye pretty quickly.
You walked him to security and hugged him goodbye.
"Ugh I'm gonna miss you," You say with tears in your eyes.
"I know y/n, but think of it this way, we only ever really see each other on holidays. So when I get back I'll make sure we throw the best Christmas party ever."
You smile. "Sounds great big bro. Love you."
And there he went. As soon as he passed through, Finn immediately wrapped you in his arms and kissed you.
"You know babe, you always look beautiful, but you look most beautiful when you smile." Finn said, wiping the tears from your eyes and leading you to a nearby bench.
He continues to hold you and rub your back.
"I love you Finn." You say. "I'm sorry that I get so upset. I know I shouldn't."
"Babe, don't be silly. You shouldn't be excited to see your brother leave."
"I know. But I feel like you're always having to comfort me."
Finn smiles and kisses your neck.
"Babe, comforting you is my job. I love it. Don't ever apologize for it."
You kiss him back. "I love you so so much. We should go home now though."
"Agreed."
