"How far away is this 'restaurant'?" I complained to Josh
We have been driving for ages!
"We are nearly there hun don't worry!" Josh replied smirking at my annoyance
Soon enough, we arrived at this huge shed type thing that didn't look any where near a restaurant
"Ummm, is this a joke?" I say confused
"You will have to wait and see" Josh replies laughing to himself
This is weird. All types of different ideas are flooding through my mind. I thought we were going to a nice restaurant for my disappointment of an 18th birthday and we turn up at a shed?
As we are getting close I glance at Josh who is also glancing at me but with a smile on his face
Okay...
I start to pull the shed doors open..
"SURPRISEEEEEEE! Everyone shouts
OMG!
*josh P.O.V*
As I see her open the doors I just hope that this plan that I've been organising for ages actually works.
"SURPRISE" everyone screams
I guess it did go to plan
When I see her smile and tears of joy my heart just melts. I'm so glad I did this for her I knew she would love it! Seeing her sad and bored on her 18th really killed me.
"Thankyou so much josh I love it!!!" She shouts jumping up and down surrounding me in hugs
"Your welcome beautiful" I smile looking down into her happy, excited eyes
I look around the shed I was in only a few hours ago and seeing all of Stacey's family and friends. The pink, white and black balloons with the same colour themed tables and dance floor really made this shed sparkle.
As every one hands Stacey presents and giving her hugs and kisses I decide to go and get a drink from the beautifully lit bar for me and now legally aged Stacey.
*Stacey P.O.V*
I can't believe this! I never expected this to happen!
I spot all of my family and give them hugs and kisses and listen to them telling me about my childhood and how grown up I am and how Josh is a lovely guy, blah blah blah. I start to get restless and start thinking about my dad, who I wish so badly he would be here with me right now celebrating my 18th birthday, I always wished to find him before I turned 18 but unfortunately it never happened.
" STACEY!" I hear two familiar voices shout behind me.
"OMG AMILY AND NEVELY! I shout excusing myself from the conversation and run to hug my California best friends "I CANT BELIEVE YOUR ACTUALLY HERE! I scream engulfing them in hugs
"well we wouldn't miss your 18th for the world" Nevely says "and we missed you anyways! Amily cries.
"How are you guys anyways!" I say whilst seeing some familiar faces behind them
"Great!" They both say
"You guys look great!" I say looking at their beautifully done hair all ready for my special birthday "I'll talk to you later I just need to say hi to everyone first!" I smile
"Awh thanks! Okay, have fun!" They say smiling back
I skip away from them until I catch up with the familiar faces I was looking for.
"Hey girls!!" I say admiring all their dresses
I really wish I wore something a little bit fancier then I did but this will have to do.
"Hey gurl! Happy Birthday!" Lortus and tenneala say giving me hugs while I thank them
"How are you girls anyways, It feels like I haven't seen you guys in ages!"
"Except for about two days ago at school" Hanla and nikki giggle
"Well, it just feels like ages gosh!" I say rolling my eyes
"This is decorated so nicely!" Gracela and laurdes say looking around the beautiful room
"I know right!" I say realising how good of a job josh did.
I'm so happy that Josh did this for me! Seeing all my family and friends on my 18th birthday means a lot! Thinking about Josh.... where is he?
Just as I was thinking that he comes up behind me giving me a quick kiss and a hug from the back
"I got you something" Josh says holding a glass of alcohol in front of me
"Yayayay!" I scream " I'm finally able to drink!"
"Go on taste it!" Josh says
I take a sip.... "Ugh" I cough and splutter while everyone laughs at me
"That's disgusting!" I seriously don't know what everyone fancies about alcohol
"Hahha, I knew you would like it babe" Josh giggles showing off his side smile
"Shaddup" I whine
"Let's dance!" He shouts pointing at the fancy looking DJ and dance floor
"Alright but you going to have to teach me because I have no idea how to dance" I giggle
"Don't worry, me neither" we both laugh while walking to the dance floor, smiling, hand in hand.
