Chapter 12

I wake up the next morning to tear stained cheeks and Josh's arm wrapped around me

Oh

He must've stayed the night

I try to shuffle out of his grip without him waking

No such luck

He mumbles and flicks an eye open, slowly he lifts himself up

"Morning babe, are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm okay" I struggle to say

"Okay just remember that I'm always here for you and I.. I love you"

My morning just got a whole lot better

I smile my biggest smile

"I love you too" I say

I see his eyes relax when he heard me saying that

We both smile at each other not saying anything until I remember something and ruin the moment

"I'm just going to go find my mum" I say

"Okay don't be too long"

I can't believe he just told me loved me! I'm so happy and relieved but still a bit confused at me still having feelings for Aundre! Why can't I just hate him!

I head out to the lounge room finding my mum on the couch

"Good morning darling, how are you?'

"Where were you last night!?"

" oh sorry I forgot to tell you, I quickly headed to the shops and I didn't want to disturb you hanging out with your friend, Josh is it?!"

"Yes mum, but he's my boyfriend now" I say with a big smile on my face

" aww darling congratulations!"

"But something else happened last night"

"What?" She questions

" Aundre came"

"WHAT!" Mum says with a surprised look on her face

"I know"

My heart aches at the sound of his name and I instantly remember everything from last night, I'm still shocked that he flew all the way from California to come see me. I'm furious at him coming back to me after Brittany but.. I can't explain it..I hate to say this to myself but I was happy to see his face again even though I'm angry at him as hell!

"What happened!"

"Well.. He came to tell me he still loved me after cheating on me and all that.. and Josh was going to punch him and I shouted no... and I don't know why I stopped josh from punching him"

"Awh sweetie, I think you still have a little feelings for him"

"Muuuummm, I don't want to! I only want to have feelings for Josh!" I whine

I can't believe I'm telling mum all of this

I just feel so comfortable telling her everything and she always understands me

"We'll make the right decision Hun, and decide who you love more" she says

"Okay" I reply thinking about what she just said

"Thanks mum, i love you"

"Love you too sweetheart"

I skip back to my room, still thinking about when Josh said he loved me
