Chapter 9

The next morning I'm awoken by the sound of my phone going off

I look at my phone and see that their is tons of messages on the screen

"OMG GUYS DID YOU HEAR ABOUT STACEY AND JOSH" Laurdes tells everyone is the group chat

"YES OMG ITS SO CUTE" gracela enthuses

"NAWHHH" tenneala and hanla say

"THE PHOTOS ARE SO CUTE" Nikki says

"Guys what photos are you talking about?" I question when I'm finally finished reading all the other messages

"LOOK ON INSTA GURL" lortus answers

Omg they must've stalked him already, I knew I shouldn't have told them

I press on the app and soon enough I see that josh has posted a photo of me at the restaurant eating my desert

" Had the best time time last night, Thank you beautiful" the caption read

OMG

The butterflies in my stomach are still there from last night and now they are going faster then ever

He just called me beautiful!!

I'm so happy right now, I no longer even think about Aundre anymore let alone think about punching Brittany straight in the face who stole him away. Maybe this was meant to happen, I was meant to find josh and I was meant to go out for dinner with him. He just called me beautiful for gods same! I'm the happiest person on earth right now!

I decide to just comment on his Instagram photo later seeing as I'm not fully awake yet and I don't want to be saying something stupid after our amazing date last night.

"OMG GUYS I JUST SAW IT!! WOO HOO" I say

I look through my other messages and there's one from Amily and Nevely

"Ooo I knew this was going to happen!!" Amily says

" woo hoo! Happy for you gurl" Nevely says

I see that there's one more message, from josh!

My heart starts pumping faster,

" hey beautiful, thanks again for an amazing night last night, what are your plans for today?"

"your welcome ;) , nah not much, just having a boring day I think" I reply with a cheesy wink face

"I'll pick you up 12, be ready"

"Okay :)"

I wonder where he's taking me

He must know me a lot because I absolutely love surprises!

I look at the clock, shit it's already 11!

I quickly hop in the shower and once I'm out I pull on a nice pair of jeans, a bright orange top and a cream coloured cardigan

I quickly apply some makeup, straighten my hair and just as I hear a knock on the door, I slip on my converses and my usual bangles

When I reach the door handle my butterflies start to kick in, even though they never actually disappeared in the first place

When I open the door his wearing a tight pair of jeans, a plain white top and a leather jacket

OMG

I nearly faint

He's hotter than I thought

"Hey Stacey"

"Hey" I stand awkwardly at the door when he pulls me into a hug

I can smell his cologne in his black leather jacket and I can feel his arms wrapped around my waist

I'm in heaven

"Ready to go then?" He asks with that perfect side smile of his

"Sure, but where exactly are we going?" I laugh

"That's for me to know and for you to found out" he looks down at me and smirks

We are at the movies which I absolutely love and which I rarely come to

We decide on watching the movie ' Fast and Furious 6' because we are both into action movies and it's the only movie on at this particular time

We are seated in the back row waiting for the movie to start with a box of popcorn, M&m's and a frozen fanta each.

"What's your favourite movie" he randomly asks

"I actually don't know, I love so many, what's yours?"

" I don't watch movies"

"Omg! Why not! They are so good especially when you have nothing to do"

" well if I had to choose it would have it be the Taylor swift movie"

"What! Taylor swift! Are you serious? She's such a.." I start going on a big rant of why I hate her so much when suddenly he hits me with a handful of popcorn

"Hey!" I start throwing popcorn back at him

"Jeez! Do you really think I would even begin to watch the Taylor swift movie" he says while throwing popcorn at me back

" oh, well, I didn't know!"

We start having a big popcorn throwing fight when we get shooshed by the people behind us

"Shoosh! The movies about to start!"

"Yeah Stacey shoosh" Josh says while laughing

I give him a push on the shoulder which makes him laugh even more because I didn't even move him one bit

Throughout the movie, I can feel josh staring at me out of the corner of my eye and when ever I go to look at him we can't help but giggle

But seriously, why is he always looking at me? Has he even seen himself! He has perfect eyes, skin, teeth and jawline that any girl would die over! I'm even lucky too be sitting next to him right now.

After the movie finishes, he drops me off at my house

"Thanks again for a fantastic time" I say

"And thank you for making me laugh more then I have in my whole life!" He responds

I blush and look down at my feet

Just as I am about to open my door, he reaches over and shuts it

"Hey wh.." I start to question

"But you forgot something"

He reaches over so that his face is inches away from mine

I can feel his mint breath on my cheek

My heart stops beating

"I've liked you the minute I knocked you over" he says

And with that,

he kisses me on the lips
