Zen's POV

I roamed my eyes around the place where I know after this day, nothing will be the same again.

I must say It was really beautiful, the flowers were arranged according to what I wanted it to be. The pillars were placed perfectly on the sides; vines and small light bulbs added an exquisite vibe to the venue.

We were on the rooftop garden in Jumin’s newest Hotel.

The place, to be honest was almost magical.

I was standing in front of the altar as I waited for the most beautiful girl of my life.

Y/N.

I admit I have a bit of dark circles around my eyes, I wasn’t able to sleep for a minute last night.

This is the day that will change our lives. And I am pretty nervous to the core.

I already imagined her wearing the most elegant wedding gown in the world so many times before, and that made my heart lurched.

My knees are trembling; I tried to make myself calm and composed as if I am just acting but I think I am failing.

As I waited for the bride to enter the aisle, I remembered everything…

I remembered her the first day she entered our lives. Everybody was shocked and I already considered her as someone interesting.

At first I thought it was just for fun, but as I get to know Y/N… I know I have already fallen for her.

Her personality is so bright and nice that can make anyone fall for her.

It made me smile.

Then I remembered that day when I first met her in person at the party. She was more beautiful than I imagined her to be. We talked all night long without realizing that it was already late. How could time so fast when I'm talking to her?

It made me happy for some reason.

Then that day when I asked her to watch me on my auditions for the main role… I saw admiration in her eyes. She even declared that she’d be my number one fan. Knowing that she was there cheering for me… I know I have given my 200% for the role. She’s like an energy-giving medicine.

It made me feel confident.

My thoughts came to a halt when I saw Y/N slowly walking towards my direction. My pulse quicken at the sight of her beauty.

She was wearing an all-white lace gown that extends down the floor; the crystals and pearls made her look like a goddess; and her headdress made of white gold made her looked like a queen.

Her picturesque made me feel like floating in the air. I can see invisible halo around her.

She took her very precious time walking on the aisle.

Her favorite wedding song was played making her smile in contentment.

I remembered that day when we went to the beach about a year ago, we were on the sand watching the clear blue waters. She took her mp3 player and played something.

It was a soft melody that resembles the gentle waves on the sandy beach.

“If I get married, I want this music to be my wedding song.” She said smiling while looking at the horizon.

“Wish granted.” I said confidently. It made her chuckle.

Now, she was smiling at me. I know she also remembered that day at the beach.

I sighed.

I know she is my destiny from the very beginning.

I remember that day when we first went to the amusement park, we rode different rides, and we played different games.

That day I realized that she is my destiny. That she would fill the other half of me.

I know she’d be the girl that I’d be waiting in front of the altar.

The bride I would exchange my vows with.

Today…

I already am standing here as I watch her walked slowly towards me. The aisle was filled by her beauty as she gracefully took her time walking.

My heart stopped the moment she was already in front of me. She smiled, I knew she was happy; I couldn’t help but cry.

I hugged her so tight like it was the last time.

I know she was my destiny…

But I guessed we were destined to be just best friends.

After that hug, she wiped my tears away and her words made my heart in pain. “Please don’t cry, you will always be my best friend.”

“I am happy for you.” I managed to say though that was not how I really felt. I want to grab her arm and run far away from here. But I know she has been waiting to be wed to the man of his life… JUMIN.

She was the most beautiful girl of my life…

She is a dream I wanted to come true…

She is a bride I dreamed of marrying…

Now that girl is standing in front of the altar with Jumin Han, while I was standing as their bestman.
