Alaya: My breathing becomes shallow as I get angrier. "Listen, I don't know who you are but you can't talk to me like that. The only thing wrong with this country are stupid assholes like yourself." I turn around from you and signal the bartender to get me another drink. This conversation is sobering my up and that's the opposite of what I want.

Kai: I caught the bartender's attention and gestured discreetly to cut you off. You'd had too much to drink, and I knew you didn't have a ride. It was best if you at the very least started to sober up now. "That's the wonderful thing about freedom of speech. I can talk however I want," I smirked.

Alaya: I roll my eyes at your comment. "Really you're gonna pull the freedom of speech card? Anyone could do that. I was expecting something more from someone so into politics. Or are you one of those guys that doesn't care about anything in politics, only about Trump? You seem like that guy." I turn my eyes away from you and over to the bartender. I could've sworn he saw me last time.

Kai: "Looks can be deceiving," I smirked at you, reaching into my pocket and producing a business card. "Kai Anderson. I'm running for city council. Contrary to your beliefs of me, I do care."

Alaya: I take the business card out of your hand and examine it. I have to admit it does look pretty legit. "Well Kai if you are gonna keep talking to me I suggest you buy me a drink. Apparently the bartender is blind or an asshole for ignoring me."

Kai: "He cuts people off after a certain level of intoxication," I took a sip of my own drink and looked at you with a knowing smirk. "Apparently he's decided you've reached your limit."

Alaya: I roll my eyes and say "Well I'm a grown woman. I think I would know my own limits. Besides somehow this conversation with you has sobered me up." I notice that your face is no longer swirling and I have to admit it's even more good looking. I stare at you for a while just observing you. "How could someone that looks so good have such shitty morals?" I ask in wonder.

Kai: I huffed a small laugh at your bluntness. It was refreshing. "I don't think I caught your name."

Alaya: "That's because I didn't throw it. My name is Alaya." I hold my hand for you to shake.
