Kai: "That's not to say my door isn't open if you ever feel the need to come to my room." As we reached my car, I opened the door for you. "I just figured it would be better for you if you had your own space to figure things out."

Alaya: "Yeah, no it's totally okay. I do need to figure some stuff out, but do you keep any Disney movies? I would literally love to binge watch some and just sort be forget about everything for the rest of the night. Tomorrow I'm gonna have to start looking for a job, so I'll be super busy. But I really appreciate all of this Kai." I get into the car. I'm not used to someone holding the door for me.

Kai: I closed the door behind you and went to the driver's side. "I think we may still have a few tapes laying around from when Winter was little. If you want, we could make it a movie night, make some popcorn," I suggested, pulling away from the bar. "Unless you'd rather be alone tonight. Whatever you wanna do."

Alaya: "I'd really love to have a movie night, you know Kai you aren't that bad. Even though you support an asshole you're not completely trash. You must have a girlfriend." I say trying to cover up the fact that I actually wanted to know.

Kai: I chuckled at your words. "No girlfriend. For the record, you're not too bad yourself." I came to the light. "Did you want to grab anything from your place before we go to mine? If you want, I can lend you something of mine, or you and Winter look around the same size."

Alaya: "I know for a fact Jackson is home. That's my ex and I don't want to deal with him right now. Can we maybe come back early tomorrow, I know he'll be at work. Besides I love sleeping in oversized t-shirts, do you have any old ones that I could sleep in? I know that if I see Jackson tonight I may go back to him and I don't want that to happen. He can manipulate me with just a few words. He has a way with his words." I don't want to be a stepmom. Especially this young.

Kai: "Of course. You can borrow one of my shirts, I'll take you in the morning so you can grab your things," I said and looked over at you briefly. "Everything is going to work out, Alaya. I promise, I'm gonna help you with whatever you need."
