Alaya: I notice your hand lying down and I grab it. "Thank you so much. I need someone like you right now."

Kai: I turned my hand over to wrap it around yours, to return the gesture. "You don't have to thank me, Alaya. I am more than happy to help you get your life back together."

Alaya: I smile and before I can stop myself I say. "You know normally I'm a slutty dunk so it's amazing that I'm not all over you right now. Like I'm reallllyyyy slutty." I say quickly trying to change the subject, things were getting way too deep.

Kai: I chuckled at your rambling admission. "Well, you've sobered up a bit since the bartender cut you off. That last drink didn't seem to do much."

Alaya: I roll my eyes and say "Don't even get me started on that bartender. If he wasn't being such an asshole I probably wouldn't be able to stand right now. I swear I would be all over you then. Do you happen to have any alcohol at your house?"

Kai: "He just looks out for his patrons," I said lightly, "But I should have something left at the house. If not, I can just make a run to the store. Are you wanting something in particular?"

Alaya: "I doubt you have this but Pincer Vodka. If you don't then it's fine, but please don't go out and buy it for me. I don't want to be more of a burden on you." I try to laugh it off but there are hints of truth.

Kai: I shook my head as I pulled up to my house. "You're not a burden, Alaya. And you're not a guest, either. I want you to think of this house as your own until you can get back on your feet again. Now come on, let's go see if I have any Pincer," I said, getting out of the car.

Alaya: "Thank you so much Kai. I really have to repay you. I'm not sure how yet but I will. Your house is really nice by the way." I say stepping out of the car.
