Chapter 13

Alaya: I look lovingly at the movie in front of me and glance at your face. I laugh at your expression before taking another swig from my glass. I try not to flinch this time but I can't help it. I glance to see your smirk and of course since I have to prove I'm not a p*ssy I take one huge gulp of the liquid and start chugging. In a matter of chugging nonstop for a few seconds I can feel tears coming from the corners of my eyes. I finally stop before wiping my mouth and say. "That shit burns."

Kai: I chuckled and grabbed the movie from you. "No one said you had to chug it," I pointed out. I popped in the movie.

Alaya: I roll my eyes at you and say "Well maybe I just wanted to chug it. Maybe I get pleasure from chugging strong vodka. And with your gathering is it full of like minded people or can I come?"

Kai: Rolling my eyes back at you, I retreated to the couch to sit beside you, keeping a cushion between us to make you more comfortable. I grabbed my glass and filled it before taking a drink myself, taking a second to think of a good response. "I think you might be a good addition, but let me bring it up with the rest of the group first. A couple of us are set in our ways, you know? I'll ease you into it, if you want, so they can warm up to you."

Alaya: "Yeah I totally get you. It's kinda like my high school cheer team. Before I could make any decisions concerning the team I would always have to make sure everyone was okay with it. I thought it was stupid that I had to get everyone's permission." I say as I bring the pillow closer to me and begin to cuddle it. "Have you ever seen Tangled before? " I ask before filling my glass up with more vodka and taking a sip.

Kai: "Once, when Winter dragged me to see it," I chuckled. I settled back into the couch with my drink as the title sequence played. "So you were a cheerleader?"

Alaya: I glance over to you, "Shh no talking during Tangled." I smirk and say "But if you must know yes I was. And I would like to think I was the best one on the team, god knows I carried the whole thing on my back." I shake my head thinking back to high school. "What were you like in high school?" I ask before taking another sip of my drink.
