Chapter 14

Kai: Smirking, I took another drink from my glass. "Shh, no talking during Tangled," I mocked teasingly before shaking my head. "I mostly kept to myself in high school. I was that kid who was between there and not there, noticed and unnoticed. If that makes sense." I refilled my glass as it was nearing the bottom and glanced over to you. "So... how drunk do I have to get you before you show me some of your moves from cheerleading?" I smirked playfully.

Alaya: I laugh and shake my head at you before saying, "You'll need to get me extremely drunk for that. It's been forever since I've even thought about cheer I doubt I can even do most of the stuff." I turn towards the movie before saying "I would literally kill to be a princess. To just be able to sit at home and look pretty man that's the dream." I pick up my glass and drink. "If you could be ANYTHING in the world what would you be? I would be a Disney princes, I would legit do anything to be one"

Kai: I sighed and pursed my lips slightly in thought. "Now to answer your last question... Honestly, I think I would be like, an astronaut or some shit. I mean, getting to leave this shithole and go into space? Fuck."

Alaya: I shake my head at you. "You do have a good point there. But wouldn't you rather be like an alien and not have to deal with Earth at all? Cuz if you're an astronaut you'll have to come back to earth sooner or later."

Kai: I looked over at you. "Shit, you're right. Am I allowed to change my answer?"

Alaya: I roll my eyes and laugh at you. "Of course you can change your answer. Could you be a gentleman and show me where the bathroom is?" I ask. Standing before gripping back onto the chair to stop myself from falling backwards. Okay maybe I was a little tipsier than I thought. That doesn't stop me from taking another swig of my glass and looking at you before saying "I swear I'm not a lightweight. This is just reallllyyyy strong. Now I have to pee so show me a bathroom."

Kai: "First, let me have this." I took the bottle from you and just placed it on the table, setting my drink next to it. "It'll be here when you get back. Now, bathroom's this way." Grabbing hold of your arm to help keep you upright, my other hand firmly pressed against the small of your back, I guided you to the bathroom. I gave you a dry, amused look. "Do I need to keep guard?"
