Kai: "Hey, hey," I intervened immediately, acting on instinct and pulling you into a hug. My hand lightly went to the back of your head to keep you close to me. "I got you, Alaya, just calm down and breathe. We'll figure this all out, okay?"

Alaya: I cry onto your shoulder as your arms engulf me. My breathing slowly slows down and before I know it I'm just silently crying with an occasional hiccup. I wrap my arms around you and just hold you tight. It feels nice to be in an embrace.

Kai: "Just breathe, okay? I promise, I got you," I soothed you, using the hand on the back of your head to start stroking your hair to further placate you. "It'll be alright. You can stay at my place if you need to."

Alaya: I slowly break away from your hug, wipe my eyes, and take a gulp of air. "Thank you Kai." I say without looking up at you. What can I say? I basically broke down in front of a complete stranger. And now you felt so bad for me that you were offering me to be able to stay with you. What was I thinking by asking you that? I barely know you. You might be a psychopath for all I know.

Kai: "Come on," I urged, gingerly putting my arm around you once more, keeping it light enough for you to pull away if you wanted. "If it makes you feel better, my sister lives with me, and her room is between mine and the spare."

Alaya: "Spare?" I squawk out quietly. For some reason I thought I would be in your room, sleeping in your bed. I slightly blush at the thought before saying, "Okay, let's go I guess."

Kai: I smiled slightly. "I wasn't going to make you sleep with me in my room, Alaya. You'll be in my brother's old room. I promise, I only want to help you," I said, starting to walk us over to my car again.

Alaya: I pout and grumble to myself. "Hm okay." I say quietly. Do you not find me attractive enough for me to sleep in your bed?
