Hoseok giggled obnoxiously as him and Namjoon walked downstairs. Hoseok was leading him around Emma's house, saying that if Namjoon was her new babysitter, he needed to be familiar with her house. "Emma usually isn't that shy around people. She's let me change her in the presence of others and she's never been bothered." Hoseok pinched Namjoon's cheek. "I think she might have a little crush."

Namjoon smiled but his mind was on other things. Was Miyuu Emma's sister? No, Namjoon personally knew Miyuu's mom and he knew that she wasn't Emma's mom. Was she a close friend?

"Hey, Hoseok, why was Miyuu in that picture with Emma and her mom?" Namjoon asked.

Hoseok held a straight face. "You're asking a lot of difficult questions tonight."

Namjoon shrugged, quiet.

"Miyuu is actually Emma's mom's sister." Hoseok laughed. "Man, I never realized that I should tell my best friend these things."

Namjoon rolled his eyes. "You think? But Miyuu never said anything about having a sister."

"There's a reason for that," Hoseok stated. "Emma's mom is the black sheep of the family and she doesn't have anything to do with the other people in her family. Don't ask why she has all their pictures on display everywhere, though. Her family's feelings are mutual, as you would expect."

Namjoon nodded. "I feel kind of sorry for Emma now."

Hoseok said something in agreement before saying it was time to go. Namjoon helped him make sure the lights were all off before he realized something. "You're just going to leave Emma alone?"

Hoseok looked at him weirdly. "What's wrong with that? Her mom doesn't like me staying here for too long."

"So she's okay with her daughter being home alone?"

"Yeah, I guess," Hoseok murmured.

Namjoon turned on the living room lights. "I don't know about you, and I know nothing about parenting, but I'm pretty sure it's wrong to just leave a little kid that's no older than eight home alone."

Hoseok's face went red. "I guess."

"You can leave," Namjoon stated. "But I'm staying."

---

I said earlier that Emma was nine, but since this is mainly from Namjoon's POV and he doesn't really know much about her, it'll change if that makes any sense. This is will only be until Namjoon knows her age for sure.
