Chapter seventeen- Emotions

Melody's POV

I get to go home today! Yay!  I have been stuck in this hospital bed for the last two days. They didn't want me to go home tell they new there was nothing seriously wrong with me.

I still can't believe that I fell in front of Corey and not just fell but tumbled while knocking myself out.

His been incredibly sweet, his also been checking on Hoover for me. Corey even took him back to his place for the night when I told him I would be ok with out him for the night.

Which I couldn't help but blush at. I am not use to someone caring so much. It's different and unfamiliar.

I'm waiting patiently for Corey to be back he said that he wouldn't be long. He just wanted to go to his mums for a quick shower before he picked me up.

I can't wait to get out of here,  hospital food is horrible and I'm that hungry that I could eat a family feast by myself.

I'm also finding it hard to eat around Corey I don't want to come off as a pig in front of him.

Corey always seems to be trying to hide his face from me. I don't think he realises that his doing it though.

I'm intrigued by his scars but also worried about how he got them. I actually think that they make Corey look even more attractive. 

"Hey beautiful girl I'm back are you ready?" Corey asked. Feeling my cheeks heat up I nodded I don't think that I'll ever get use to him calling me beautiful.

When we first meet I was just so intrigued by him that I didn't realise he was calling me beautiful most of the time.

Following Corey outside I took my time because my leg is still extremely sore. The doctor said it will take a while for it to feel better.

The doctor also give me pain relief but I don't want to take it and make a fool of myself again. I can't remember everything I said to Corey that night but the parts I do remember is enough.

Opening the car door for me or should I say ute. I tried to hop in but couldn't because of my leg and how short I am.

Damn you shortness I huffed while crossing my arms over my chest.

"Would you like some help? " Corey asked sweetly.

Chewing my lip I decided to give it one more go before I answered him. Trying again with the same result. .

"Yes please. Sorry to be a pain." Great his going to think that I'm useless.

Before I could react Corey had me by the waist while gently putting me into the ute while whispering in my ear.

"You'll never be a pain beautiful girl." The shiver that running through my body is making me feel weak at the knees.

With shacking hands I plugged my seatbelt in while taking a deep breath to control my breathing. Corey made his way around his car before jumping in.

"So if it's ok with you I thought that we could stay a few nights at mine tell your leg is feeling a little better. That's if you feel comfortable enough and trust me enough to do so." Corey spoke while pulling out on to the street.

Swallowing the anxiety that was building up I decided for once I'm going to take a leap.

"Ok I'll stay but just so you know I know Kung Fu." I said jokingly while doing the hand gestures. "I just want to get some clothes from mine first if that's ok?"

Looking over at Corey I could see the amusement in his eyes. It's crazy how I feel like I can almost be myself with him but I'm so worried that when I do that he will look at me like I'm crazy while running away from me.
