I woke up in Disneyland.

I don’t know, or remember how I got here. I remember walking through the Earth Exit and walking around for a while, trying to find some place to stop. Except I don’t remember stopping. Maybe I fell asleep somewhere? I’m not sure. I don’t remember. But I knew I wasn’t alone.

I was enclosed in Cylak’s arms, lying against a wall. I saw exotic birds, hanging from the ceiling, trees and plants around the room, with brown benches around the room.

I knew we were screwed if we got caught.

“Cylak, wake up.” I whispered loudly, shaking him.

He moved his head slightly. “What?”

“Why are we in The Enchanted Tiki Room?” I asked, dumbfounded. I want to know how he got me here.

He looked up and noticed where we were. “Oh, uh, I heard you talk about how much you liked Disneyland. I’ve never been, so I thought I’d give it a try.”

I smiled at him. “You’ll love it.”

I passed the thought of us breaking into Disneyland out of my mind.

I heard the noise of people coming, so we quickly untangled ourselves and stood up, and the doors opened. People started filing in, but we hid in the corner so no one noticed us until there were lots of people.

We were safe.

“What is this, Calia?” Cylak asked, looking around the room.

“It’s a show about birds.” I didn’t want to explain further. It would ruin the surprise.

“And you find this entertaining?” He asked as the first crack of thunder and lightning started, making him jump, and me laugh.

“Yes, very.” I replied smiling, and the show began.

Once we exited about forty-five minutes later, the park was bright. The time had to be around nine-ish in the morning, and I was routing our day in my head, trying to figure out where to hit next.

“Oh, we’re gonna have so much fun.” I let an evil smile creep to my face.

“Oh, I’m scared.” Cylak laughed sarcastically.

He really should’ve been scared.

We walked around Adventureland for a while, and I found one of my favorite rides ever. The Jungle Cruise.

“Ooh, we have to hit that one!” I exclaimed as I grabbed his hand and practically ran to the line, dodging random people.

“Okay, okay, we have all day. Don’t rush.” He told me.

I was offended by that. “It takes all day to get through the rides.” I glared at him.

“Okay, okay!” Cylak said, defeated, making me smile.

The line, thankfully, wasn’t long, and we were at the front of the boat. We headed off, and down the river. We saw the animals, laughed at the jokes by the tour guide, and Cylak jumped at the piranhas snapping out of the water. When we headed back, he looked a little upset.

“It’s over?” He asked, whining a little.

“Yeah, it’s over.” I replied, a little sad myself. I don’t know the last time I went on this ride. We headed off the ride, and were on our way.

I squealed excitedly when I saw Pirates of the Caribbean.

“Come on!” I held onto his hand and dashed into that line.
