JAY [COMPLETED]

CHAPTER 10

Christmas was nearing and joy was in the air.

It was the happiest time of the year for both me and my family.

I was still staying over at my grandparent's place and Jay had come over to help me decorate the place.

We spent a whole day dusting and cleaning the house, bringing down the decoration stuff from the attic.

We bought a big tree bout 8 feet high and decorated it with bells, glittering balls, shining stars and ofcourse color lights.

It was hard work.

We were all done and settled for a Christmas movie night when in the middle of the movie, Jay suddenly said my name.

'Kimmie?'

'Yes?'

'I love you' and just like that he confessed with his eyes still glued to the screen.

'Okay.' I said.

He turned to face me.

'Kimmie, I know that this is sudden and that love is a serious thing. But, I had loved you since the time I met you. I wanted to find a right time to tell you but I can't hold it back anymore.'

I looked into his eyes. He was desperately waiting for a reply.

With my hands grazing and taking hold of his cheeks, I turned to him as I smiled sweetly.

'I know jay. I love you too. You stole my first kiss.'

And that's how my second kiss happened with the same person as my first kiss.

I loved Jay.

I was sure of that and He loved me back too.

We were perfect for each other.

There was nothing stopping us.
