I sat down at one of the booths in the old coffee shop. The murals on the walls had worn out and the furniture had aged a lot, but the coffee still tasted heaven.
A few minutes later, a tall guy with winter scarves around his neck strolled into my booth.
He smiled at me and I at him.
He looked so different yet so same from 6 years back.
He had obviously gained some muscle, colored the front part of his hair and had an unshaven face.
But beneath all these changes, he was still my Jay. And I was his Kimmie.
'You've changed a lot Kimmie. You look hot.'
I blushed a little. There was no way I was looking hot in my jean and hoods. Being nice was his typical character.
'You changed a lot yourself Jay.'
'I thought we were supposed to delete our numbers and not contact each other?'
'Well, why didn't you delete my number then?'
'How could I? and from the looks of it you didn't delete my number either.' He smirked.
'Yeah. I couldn't. There's a lot I wanted to tell you.'
'Cool and I have got all day. There is nothing more important than listening to my favourite girl talk.'
