ALYSON'S POV

Rydel and I were sitting on lounge chairs by the pool, "So how's the Rocky thing?" She asked carefully. I was okay talking about it with her, seeing as she was my best friend. "Rocky's been gone for over two weeks now." I sighed, "He calls about every other night and asks me how I'm doing. I still don't know where he is. There's never any talking or back ground noise when we're on the phone, so I'm sure he really is alone. He always calls around 5 pm. I always ask him when he's coming home and I always get a sigh and a 'soon...' " She shook her head, "I'm sorry. I wish I knew how to help you."

I started my semester at school, and I'm taking next semester off because of the baby. I spent most of the first week at Kay's place and Riker would come with me. He was trying to work things out with her and I thought they were going to go places. Then I started being around the Lynches. The baby really liked them. She always kicked and stuff whenever I was over there. I stayed for dinner and spent a lot of afternoons with Rydel after class by the pool. Ross joined us when he wasn't working. Rocky wouldn't tell his family where he was either. I could tell Stormie was beginning to be anxious. So was I.

I was reading my fit pregnancy magazine and then Rydel was going on and on about a date she and Ratliff went on. The rest of the family still didn't know. If i'm giving props then I can say they are doing a fabulous job of pretending to not be an item. It's going well for them.

My phone rang Rocky's ringtone, "Falling for You" and it blared. "Hello?" I said in to the reciever. "Hey Love," I smiled, "Hi, Rocky, how are you baby?" "I'm okay, I miss you," my smile faded, "Then come home, Rock," He sighed yet again and uttered the overused word, "soon..." I started tearing up, "Every time you say that I hurt a little more..." He sniffed, "I'm sorry, How are you?" I stared down at my belly, "I'm okay, feeling a little big," He laughed a little, "I bet you've grown a bit," I smiled, "I have,"

"How is she?" He asks. "Good. She kicks a lot. She loves Ross' and your mom's voice. Speaking of your mom, she's worried sick about you." He sighed, "I know. I get her messages." Rydel walked inside to see about dinner and She came back out to tell me it was ready.

I needed to tell Rocky goodbye, "Rocky, dinner is ready." You could hear the tension in his voice, "Who fixed dinner?" I sighed, "Riker and I have been spending a lot of days at your parents." He cleared his throat. "Oh, well tell them I love them. And I love you." I smiled, "I love you," "Bye," "Bye, babe,"

I walked inside and sat down by Ross. "Rocky says hi and he loves you guys," Everyone looked up at me. Mark spoke, "You talked to him?" I nodded, "Every other night he calls, have you not heard from him at all?" Stormie shook her head slowly, "No, He doesn't pick up." I looked at my plate, "I'm sorry, Stormie," "It's okay, Love," She said. "Let's all eat."

Riker drove us home and we talked about Rocky. He wanted to move out and into his own place but he promised to stay until Rocky came back and we got settled into our new house. We were going to close on it soon.

We got to the apartment and I cuddled up to my blanket and watched Anchorman with Riker. It was really nice to not be living alone right now. The Lynch's were so helful, not to mention, some of my best friends. Ratliff was even getting to be a good friend of mine now. I needed these friends now, so I was really happy to have them in my life when Rocky was off figuring out whatever the hell it was he needed to figure out.

Riker carried me to my bed and turned off the light. I rolled onto my side, which was now my only comfortable spot. I felt Rocky's side of the bed. It was cold and I began crying. I missed him and I wanted him there. I just needed to sleep next to him. He was my cuddle bug and I loved him so much.

I got up after a few minutes of crying and trudged over to Riker's room. I knocked on the door. "Yeah?" He groaned, sleppily as I opened the door. "Rike. Can I sleep in here?" He sat up a little. "Yeah, Sure, are you okay?" I sniffled, "Not really," and I started crying again. I lay down next to Riker and I talked to him and he listened. "I just miss him so much," I cried into his shoulder. "I know, Alyson, I'm sorry. I know he'll come back, he's just taking a lot of time." I nodded, "I know. I love him. I just miss laying in bed with him and him singing to me to help me sleep. He would always sit with me when I felt nauseous and he'd help me get up." Riker pulled me closer, "I can help you Alyson. I know I'm not him, but I can try Al. He'll be back, I promise,"

"I hope so," "Are you doubting he'll even come back??" Riker asked me. "I mean, I'm just worried." "About?" "I don't know Riker, I hope nothing bad happened to him." He scoffed, "I'm sure he's fine. He might not be fine when I get my hands on him, but for now he's fine." I smiled, hugging Riker tightly, "Thanks Rike. Love you bro." "Love you al."
