Month: February

ALYSON'S POV

My mom sat in front of me holding Kadence and I marveled at how kind she was being to everyone today. Super bowl Sunday had always been Rocky and his sibling's favorite day of the year. They all dressed up in their team jerseys and watched the game from beginning to end, probably only getting up to grab more food or use the bathroom. This year I had been so preoccupied with the baby I had no clue who was even playing, but nevertheless Rocky had wanted to have a party and so everyone came over to our hectic household to watch the super bowl.

All of his family was planning on coming over as well as the rest of my family, seeing as my parents had spent the previous night with us in hope they could see their grandchild for only a third time in the month she'd been here. I had made the decision to not allow them into our home because they didn't respect Rocky or I and I wouldn't take it anymore. Rocky thought I was being harsh, but I thought it was reasonable, seeing as how they had treated us.

The doorbell rang and Ross jumped up to grab it, "Riker!" He yelled, pulling him a hug, "Kay?" He said, hugging her and looking confused, "What are you doing here?" He asked politely. "Riker asked me to come, is it okay for me to be here?" She asked playfully. "Of course it is!" Ross said, looking at Riker, "She is my girlfriend after all," Riker beamed, kissing her on the cheek. "Aw!" I clapped my hands from the other side of the room, "That's really fun you guys, congrats."

Rocky smiled momentarily and looked at me, "When's the pizza gonna be here?" He asked, completely uninterested in anything related to their relationship. "Soon babe, it is super bowl Sunday, it might take a while." "I guess I didn't consider that," He shrugged, reaching up quickly to pull me on top of him. "Excuse you!" I yelled excitedly. He kissed the side of my face a hundred times and then let his arms stay around me for a long time. I rested my head on his shoulder and smiled, watching him intently study the TV screen. "It's been so long since you've done that..." I whispered into his ear. "I know." He smiled, kissing me again.

The rest of his family arrived quickly, along with my brothers. "Alyson," my mom said, "Can we talk a minute?" I rolled my eyes to my fiancée hoping she wouldn't see. "Sure, mom," I said, getting up. She tried to hand Kade to me and I looked at her, "You can hand her to Ross or something Mom, she's kind of distracting." She looked from me to Ross, who smiled with open arms, "He knows now to old a new born?" I visibly rolled my eyes at her, "Yes ma'am, he lives with us, he definitely knows, watch this," I snapped, handing the baby over to Ross, who began playing with her.

"Rocky," My mother paused, looking at him, "You too," Rocky's jaw nearly dropped to the floor. "Um, okay," He jumped up; grabbing my hand tightly and my mother lead us to the porch. I sat down next to Rocky and she sat down across from us. "I have to, um, apologize," She spoke, looking at the floor as if it were painful. "Alyson you're my only little girl and it's been very hard for me to deal with this whole situation, because you two are so young." She continued, "Rocky seemed nice, but he's a rock star and I didn't want something terrible to happen and you two break up or be cheated on," Rocky's grip around my hand tightened and I leaned on his shoulder.

"I didn't trust him, I'll be honest, and after you told us you were pregnant I definitely didn't trust him." "Mom," I breathed, "Where is this going?" She shook her head, "Right, right," She turned her attention to Rocky for the first time ever really. "Rocky, I was wrong." She stared blankly. "I should have given you more props for staying with her and I treated you, both of you, terribly and you were doing the best that you could, and you didn't deserve it." Rocky smiled a small smile and nodded, "Thanks Mrs. Peters," "Please call me Melissa," She smiled, "And Alyson; I know I haven't seen you much, but you really are a fantastic mother."

She wiped her eye carefully, "Kadence is lucky to have such great parents, and of course Ross and all of her aunts and uncles, and the world's greatest grandparents on both sides!" She laughed. "I love you both dearly, and I'd be honored to have Rocky and all of them in our family." She said, standing up. "That means so much, Mommy," I said, hugging her tightly, the closest I'd felt to my mother in a long time. "Melissa," Rocky said, hugging her. "Should I start calling you mom?" He joked. "If you want to, I've always wanted another son!"

We all went inside and my dad shook Rocky's hand, "I guess its official," He said to him, taking a sip of his beer. "What's official sir?" Rocky asked, turning his attention to him. "Welcome to the family," He smiled the smile that I'd seen so many times before. I sat down next to Rocky and handed him our baby, watching them as he talked to her and played with her. She finally began making faces and what almost seemed like a smile came up when they all started singing together.

The game began and Kadie quickly fell asleep in her dad's arms, not minding the yelling or the excitement in the Super Bowl festivities. Rocky turned to face me and slowly planted a sweet kiss on my lips. "This is perfect," he said, smiling at me. He took my hand in his and intertwined his fingers with mine, sighing and smiling at the ceiling. "What?" I said, watching him curiously. "Our family," He said softly, turning his attention back to the game. I looked around at everyone in the room. My best friends Ross and Rydel, Ellington, Ryland, Riker and even my old friend Kay, Rocky's parents, my parent's, my siblings, and I realized that he was right. This was our perfect family. I studied him closely, smiling like an idiot before kissing him on the cheek and whispering, "Perfect,"

A/N

SO there you guys go! Oh my goodness, I know it probably wasn't the best, as I read through it again, it seems kind of strange in a way, but it was my first ever story to actually complete and I am so proud of myself!

As I said previously, I am in the works of writing a new book, Title TBD (To Be Determined) I will announce that it is a RIKER fanfiction. Just to give you a few details it will probably be nothing like this story, well, at all. The next story is kind of my evolving point, I was comfortable writing Imagines and of course regular fanfiction, cutsie little stories, but now I find myself more excited with writing edgier, more suspenseful piece of writing. I don't know, maybe I'm a shit writer, idk.

For those asking I have NO idea when it'll begin to be put up. I have school and so many activities I have to do, so writing isn't really a priority unfortunately.

Thank you all so much for your love and support and I appreciate every single one of my readers and I hope that the last chapter wrapped it all up and left everything in a good place. I have said I will not be writing a sequel, mostly beccause I want to focus on my next book and that I don't see a need for it. I feel like I left everything in a good place here and I'm happy with it, even as my first book. As to where Rocky and Alyson go, I believe that is up to you and your imaginations, so keep imagining!

Thanks for everything guys, keep up with me on social media, I'm always there, always. And I'm so happy I finally can say I've finished this!

alli xx.
