Chapter three: not edited

As Rory rested his head against the window, he couldn't help but welcome the sleep he needed so bad. He knew that Sam and Dean wouldn't need him at the moment - their minds were to preoccupied with the troubles that wait for them at their destination. Both brothers had their eyes peeled on the road while Rory drifted off into the dream world.

Truth be told, Rory had no idea what kind of dreams would greet him. Would he dream about his parents dying? Or would it be a mock dream about how Jessica died on the ceiling? According to Sam, he was the one who found her. Rory couldn't help but think how painful Jessica's death must have been. The way she was pinned to the ceiling with no chance of getting down or how flames engulfed her body, burning the bare flesh off her bones. As Rory slept, the only thing he could imagine was life without his sister.

"Hey Rory." A hand started to stir him out of his sleep - but he couldn't detect who it was. When the dream world went away, the blonde was met by warm colored eyes. "You need to get up. We just arrived to the Carlton's house."

"Go away." The blonde swatted his hand away, earning a huff of annoyance from the youngest Winchester. He didn't even realize both of the brothers had walked out of the car, until it was too late - which made him end up face first in the ground since Sam had decided to open the door to his side when he was trying to situate himself. "What the hell? My face doesn't deserve this."

Dean let out a laugh. "Come on, pretty boy. It's time to get to work."

"Oh, yeah?" Rory mimicked his voice before knocking the light haired man off the ground. As soon as Dean hit the ground, Sam couldn't contain his laughter.

"I'm sorry, but that was just amusing."

Rory's eyes trained on Sam Winchester's figure, how his back bones were contorting with each laugh that left his mouth. When the younger boy turned his attention to the blonde, a small smile crept on his face - a smile so soft that it could light up the whole room. Rory had no clue why he was checking out Sam. It wasn't like he had a chance with him.

"So, are you guys going to stay there all day? Or are we actually going to get some work done?" Sam grinned when he saw the look of annoyance appear on his brother's face.

"Shut up Sam."

The blonde glanced around, his eyes trained on every detail of the lake as possible. It looked normal, but who knew what dark secrets actually laid under the calm waters. Whoever made this spirit or whatever it's called mad, they have a whole new ball game ahead of them. That's exactly what the Winchester boy's thought when they saw Bill Carlton sitting on a bench that oversees the water.

"She was about a hundred yards out." Will Carlton pointed out to the lake. He was young, maybe around in his early 20's. "That's where she got dragged down."
