Dusk & Dawn.

It had been a week since I went to the fellowship. I didn't allow myself think about God, I couldn't. I needed space and time, to breathe, to think. I peeked at my phone and the notification panel housed a message from Kyle.

K: 'Hey Annie. Want to grab some lunch?'

I waited for thirty minutes then texted him back and replied with a brief acceptance- the third this week. I needed less time alone. I needed not to think about what had happened last week, I still hadn't found my mum and I didn't see how fellowship would have helped. Besides I needed someone to show they cared. Dad was too busy managing his automobile company and my siblings were just to young to get me. Kyle bears the prestigious title 'the son of a multi billionaire' and he was interested in me. I was about to meet him at the Crême dé rouge for lunch. I flipped open my compact mirror and pressed some powder on my face as the LA weather did nothing good to my skin. As I walked out of my house I spotted myself and did a quick check. My gold studded Christian Louboutins looked great with my teal leggings and my black leather tank top. As I brushed my bangs into place I felt my phone vibrate.

D: 'Hi your royal majesty. I've hardly seen you this week. Where are you? Are we going back to fellowship? I love Hillsong! (I'm not fangirling btw. I've only played their songs like 2456 times in the past week)'

I giggled. Dylan was in love with a band that moved me to my knees but he was also in love with a band I never want to see again. I didn't want to speak to Dylan or Cookie because they would want to go back but I knew I couldn't avoid them forever.

A: 'I'm not sure if I want to go back just yet. I need time to breathe. I'm about to go for lunch with Kyle. You?'

D:'Oh, whenever you're ready I'm here & I guess Jesus is too. Kyle? :('

A: 'What?'

D: 'I haven't seen you and you're out with Kyle-again.'

A: 'lol. I'm sorry. I'll see you tonight. I promise.'

D: 'Okay. See ya x'

I slid my phone into my Chanel purse and zoomed off in my Jaguar. As I arrived at Crême dé rouge I spotted Kyle. He was seated outside. He had a white Chanel shirt on, a pair of Zara shorts, Ray Ban sunglasses and Tod's loafers.

"Hi An." he said as he walked over to hug me. I embraced him and took in his lovely scent -Chanel no. 5.

"Hi Kyle." I said.

"How have you been doing?" he asked.

"Good ,thank you. And you?"

"Great. After lunch would you like to go to my beach house in Miami. I will love to take you to the beach."

"I would love to! But I need to go home before I go or people will be shocked to death to see a girl in a leather top at the beach." I joked.

He laughed then said "I love you no matter what you're wearing".

I smiled at him, I didn't want to tell him I loved him. It was too early for that and I wasn't sure if I did. We chatted for a while and ate. I had a shrimp cocktail while he had a club sandwich.

"So tell me. Why do boys love sandwiches so much? Like you had an option of almost anything here and you chose a sandwich- again Kyle." I said tilting my head and raising my eyebrow.

"Well I like things simple but amazing. That's why I like you." he said.

My cheeks went pink enough to compete with my 'rose petal' blush.

"You're too cute" I said smacking his shoulder gently.

He laughed and managed a " let's get going babe".
