It was a hot day and the suspense was killing me so I headed over to address Brit had

left in her purse. As I pulled up unto her driveway I noticed a huge house with amazing French windows and hand carved doors and a driveway spotted with cars of the finest makes. I walked over to the door and rang the doorbell expecting a maid but Brit showed up...in a bikini.

"You couldn't wait, could you? I was just about to swim. Join me?" Brit said smiling.

Her blue bikini made her eyes pop and her blonde hair looked as pretty as it did last night even in a ponytail.

"I was being considerate. I didn't want to keep you away from this for too long. And I'll just lounge by the poolside if you don't mind." I replied not mentioning wether I meant myself or the purse when referring to 'this'.

"What is that I smell? You're on that stuff, aren't you? You've come to the right girl." she said pulling me inside.

"Where are your parents? Don't they object to having that in their house?" I asked.

"What they don't know won't hurt them." She spun around on her heel and took down her hair. She was walking backwards and staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"You're cute-that's all. Even when you're drunk and on 'stuff'."

"I'm not drunk." I protested.

"Don't lie to me, I know the smell of alcohol anyplace, anytime." She tapped my face and ran out to the poolside. She immediately jumped into the pool and asked if I was coming in.

"No thanks. What was in that bottle anyways?"

"Let's see of you can guess. If you do guess right, I will do one trick you want-anyone." She winked and climbed unto the diving board.

"Vodka." I guessed.

"No. That wouldn't have had you reeling like that." She walked over to the outdoor kitchen and grabbed a drink. She threw me one aswell. "Yes, water. Maybe you should have something other than alcohol in your system," she winked and smiled.

"Just tell me."

"What fun would that be?"

"Oh no! I totally forgot I have a beach party today. You have to come, you'll have a swell time." she said as she glanced through her messages and for the first time I realized she had an Australian accent. She quickly toweled off and hopped into her car.

"Really? You aren't going to put some clothes on?" I asked surprised.

"No. Do you have a problem with it?" she asked as she put on her Ray Ban sunglasses.

"I definitely don't." I replied smiling.

I was having a hard time knowing when I was speaking and when it was the stuff and alcohol in my system but I went along with it anyways.

I fell asleep that night hardly knowing what went down the rest of the day. Flashes from the party came up once in a while. Brit and I dancing. Having so many loud people around. Sun tanning. Brit being so close. Bottles from the night before. But I hardly remembered what actually happened that night.

I woke up in a strange room in a strange house.

"Hi sleepyhead. Ready to head back to my house?" my Australian blonde in my huge baseball shirt said.

"What happened?"

"Someone partied a bit to hard last night." she teased.

I didn't want to ask her where we went because I was so shocked I could hardly remember it. Looking through our phones on the way to her house answered my unasked questions-and it shocked me."

"I said, who is this?" Annie continued.

"I promise, if you do not answer me I will fling this phone across the room. Answer me!"

"Britney," I finally said.

"Well, duh. Why is she on your lap?"

"You were gone. It was a party, I was having a nice time and she came over and we talked and had drinks and stuff happened." I replied.

I saw her shoulder droop more, her body curl up, and the sparkle in her eyes fade. Even intoxicated with all this junk, I could see the little things about her and it scared me. It scared me to think I had been so horrible to her, and to our relationship. I had betrayed her trust. I couldn't think of anything else to say so I walked up to her and cupped her perfect face in my hand.

"I love you," I managed to say.

But her arms swung at my face and hit me right on the cheek, where I deserved it. I don't know if she knew I was drunk and high but it hurt even in that cloud of mine. It hurt.

"Get out of my room! Get out! Now!" she shouted before I could explain.
