Summer Love (Hayes and Nash fan fic)

Chapter 8

I started leaving.. I needed to talk to Cameron.. What if he is mad at me for just leaving him... I got to his door and knocked... No one answered... I rang the doorbell and 5 minutes later his mom walks out.

"Is Cameron here?" I asked

"Ya you can come in he is up in his room"

I walked in and ran up the stairs. I went into his room and he was asleep... Should I wake him?? I went to the side of his bed and shook him barely.. He barely opened his eyes.. He saw it was me and hurry and jumped out of bed..

"Hey sorry for coming on such short notice but I really need to talk to you." I said looking down

"It's good"

"Also sorry for just walking out on you earlier.. I wanted to tell you that.... I... I also have feelings for you... A little more than a friend.."

"Oh... Umm what about you and Hayes..."

"Well.." I started crying and the rest of my mascara came running down my face

He walked over to me and sat down right by me. He put his arm around me and I laid my head on his shoulder.

"It turns out he was cheating on me the whole time.."

"Lex I am so sorry!" He said kissing me on the cheek

"Ya... I tried telling him that I started having feelings for you and it all turns out he asked salara out while we were dating." I said holding back tears

"I'm sorry! It all my fault.."

"No it's not your fine. Cameron I have had feelings for you all along so don't worry"

"You have?!?" He asked as if he had no idea which I thought he knew

"Ya....maybe.. Well sorry I woke you up..."

"Oh no worries"

"Well... I better get going I will see you tomorrow." I said leaving

"Ok come anytime" he shouted when I was halfway down his stairs.

I walked him and when I walked in the door I saw Hayes and Salara on the couch. Salara was laying on Hayes almost asleep. I couldn't help but just run upstairs and cry. I ran into my room and laid down on my bed with tears rolling down my face. I know I like Cameron now but it just hurts to see him doing the same things we did. I started remembering the day he asked me out in the hammock.. I started falling asleep.. There is no way I could go back after what he did to me. I pulled out my phone before I went to sleep. I had 3 texts.

Mom☀️: I'll be home tomorrow afternoon.

To Mom: ok sounds great

Hayes🙈: I want to talk to you alone when you get a minute.

Why would he want to talk to me... Maybe he's apologizing...

Cameron😃: I'm glad we got to talk. See ya tomorrow.

To Cameron: Me to! See ya

I got up to plug in my phone to charge. Soon as I plugged it in I hopped back in bed. Thoughts about Hayes and Cameron ran through my head. I finally ended up closing my eyes and falling asleep..
