Summer Love (Hayes and Nash fan fic)

Chapter 30

We got to IHOP and the lady took us to a little booth in the corner. We both sat down and ordered.

"What do you want to do today?" He asked as the lady walked off

"Let's go to the mall." I replied instantly

He just laughed at my reaction. We both sat there and messed with the crayons and coloring papers on the table.

"Let's do tic tac toe! I call going first!" I shouted writing an X in the middle of the board

"I think these crayons are for little kids and when they come to eat here." He laughed

"Well there isn't a sign that says it's only for kids." I said trying to act serious

"That's true.." He said picking up a crayon.

Not long after the lady came out and brought our food. We both started eating right away.

We got out of the car at the mall to go inside. We walked in and the first thing I saw was the photo booth.

"C'mon!" I said grabbing his hand and leading him over.

I grabbed $3 out of my bag and put then in the slot. We got in and took some really weird pictures. I hope no one was watching on the screen outside the booth

"Your hyper aren't you.." He smiled and looked at me

"Am I being annoying." I joked

"No, I like it when you are hyper." He leaned over and kissed me on the forehead.

We walked around the mall for about 2 hours until we decided to leave. We walked outside and got to the car and saw that there was a note on the car on the side I was getting in.

The note:

Hey Lexie! Your going to go on a little treasure hunt. I am going to give you a little hint on where the next note is and the next one will tell you where to find the one after that. Cameron will help you find each note to figure out your surprise. The next note will be where you sleep. Creepy.... I know

"Well it looks like we need to go to your apartment." Cameron stated as he started the car.

"Did you know about this?"

"I guess you will find out." He laughed

Wait., he was a part of this... I wonder what the surprise is for..

Cameron's POV

It's so hard to keep it from her. I know she will like the surprise it's just to hard for me to not tell her.

"All I can say is that you will love the surprise."

"Ugh, you know I hate surprises." She teased

I know she hates surprises but I thought it would be fun to tell her this way.
