Summer Love (Hayes and Nash fan fic)

Chapter 26

I woke up the next morning with a stomach ache again.. I could figure out why since I just got over being sick. I laid in bed wondering what could possibly be wrong.

I started feeling something come up my throat. I ran to the bathroom and couldn't stop puking. When finally I stopped I went and, got in bed. I felt really achy and my sides were cramping. When my phone buzzed I reached over and unplugged it and turned it on.

Cameron😘: Good morning babe, what do you want to do today?

To Cameron: I really don't want to do anything today.

Cameron😘: is something wrong?

To Cameron: my stomach is cramping and I have been throwing up.

Cameron😘: I'll be over there in a minute.

I don't want to get him sick. That would make me feel awful. I put my phone down and sighed. I looked in the mirror by my bed and I looked awful. My face was pale and I had the dark circles under my eyes like before.

I tried to go back to sleep until I felt someone playing with my hair. I looked over and Cameron was laying by me.

"I look awful." I said trying to cover my face

"You are still beautiful." He whispered grabbing my hands and gently pulling them off my face.

I couldn't help but smile. My stomach hurt but I still could feel the butterflies I got when Cameron was around. I wish we could stay like that forever until I started feeling something come up my throat again. I got up and ran to the bathroom and was on my knees puking. Cameron came in and pulled back my hair. I stood back up and he pulled me into a tight grip. Until I started feeling really dizzy.

I woke up and I was in a hospital bed. My head hurt like crazy. I looked over and Cameron was asleep on the couch by my bed.

"Cameron why am I here" I said kinda loud so he would wake

"Oh my gosh LEXIE you are finally awake!" He said running over to me

"What do you mean what happened?"

"Well you passed out in the bathroom and hit your head really hard and wouldn't wake up" he said quietly and looked like he was on the verge of crying

"What's wrong?" I said leaning over to hug him

" you hit your head so hard they weren't sure if you were going to wake up and I thought I was going to lose you. You cut your head open and had to get stitches too."

I felt the back of my head and realized some hair was gone. I was so sore and felt like my bones were all broken. My stomach didn't hurt anymore but I didn't feel that great.

"Well what's wrong with me? When can I leave?"

"He said it depends on when you wake up and they couldn't find anything unusual except for the fact the you passed out and hit your head, but they can't figure out why you did in the first place."

Just then the doctor came in and looked relieved. They asked me a lot of questions that were random like 'what is your name' I think they were just making sure I was completely awake. They went out of the room and came back like 10 minutes later and made Cameron leave the room while they talked to me.

"Nothing seems to be wrong and we can't figure out why you passed out. Your head is the thing we are concerned about now. We have some medicine for you for the pain. The stitches should just fall out by themselves. If anything strange happens till then give us a call. You are able to go home." He said smiling handing over a thing of pills and some papers about what happened and stuff.

I got up and walked out of the room to find Cameron sitting in a chair in the waiting room. I went over and hugged him.

"Thank you so much! Let's go home now." I said excited

Sorry this chapter wasn't the best.. I haven't had much time to write because I moved but I will start up again.

Anyways I start school tomorrow and I am so mad that summer is over. I hope this year goes by fast 😁
