Chapter 28

"Lexie the only reason I was with that girl was to help her get home. She leaned in and kissed me and I tried to push her a way but she wouldn't let go." I shouted

"How am I suppose to believe that?!? I can't believe you let that girl kiss you when you have a girlfriend." She yelled trying to hold back tears

"I tried to push her away Lexie!!! She wouldn't let go!! I love you not her she doesn't mean anything to me but you want to know who does? You. It would kill me to lose you over that considering I tried to get away from her." I said as calm as possible

"If you really wanted to get away you could've!! For all I know you guys could've ended up going to her house and doing much more that just kissing!" She said bursting out in tears

"I would never do that! You know I wouldn't. Please don't let this get in the way of us I tried to get away and now it's only your choice to believe me." I said now holding back a few tears

She just stood there in silence. I walked over to her and I couldn't help myself. I grabbed her waist and pulled her close to me. I leaned in and kissed her. I was surprised she kissed me back.

"Never do that again." She whispered breaking the kiss

"I won't babe."

Lexie's POV

There was no way I could stay mad at him. He always knows how to make me feel better. The only thing bothering me now is my sister. She is gone and I didn't have a chance to say goodbye. She has always been so close to me and it's hard to know that she is gone.

"I have something for you." Cameron whispered reaching into his pocket

He pulled out a necklace with a infinity sign on it that says 'it always gets better - love cam' I felt a tear run down my cheek. A huge grin grew across my face. I put it down and leaned over and kissed him.

"I love you." He said in between

"I love you too." I said breaking the kiss.
