Summer Love (Hayes and Nash fan fic)

Chapter 27

We pulled into the drive way and when I got out of the car Cameron came up to me and kissed my cheek. And walked me to my apartment. Our fingers intertwined as we were walking. It was awkward and really quiet. Soon as we got to my apartment we went into my room and walked right past Ashlynn and Nash asleep on the couch.

Cameron's POV

I know something is going on in her head that she isn't telling me. I want her to tell me but I don't know how to get her to.

When we got in her room she sat on her bed and started looking through a drawer. There were probably over 200 pictures in there. She finally pulled one out and tears started to form in her eyes. It was of her and a older girl that looked somewhat similar to her.

"Who's that lex?" I asked sitting down by her

"Nobody..." She said wiping her tears and putting the picture back and shutting the drawer.

She looked like she was about to just burst out into tears. I want to know who that girl is but first I want to know why she doesn't want to tell me. I looked down at my hands and started playing with the strings coming from my sweats I had on.

"Cam I will tell you soon but now is not the time to worry about it. I love you so much and would never hide anything from you but I need time." She whispered trying to hold back tears

"Don't worry about it. Tell me when you feel like the time is right."

I was dying to know but I don't think she's ready to tell me yet.. Thoughts ran through my head wondering who that could of possibly been until her phone started ringing. She looked at who it was and picked up her phone and walked into the other room and told me to stay in her room. What is going on..?

I stayed in her room playing with her pens and notebooks. I saw a paper fall out and I couldnt pick it up without reading it.

Why is it always me?! I don't get it why did he do that to me. What did I ever do to him? I have so much going on already and it hurts to know he did that. I knew that I wasn't worth it. I never have been and never will be. My dad is gone and my family has fallen apart. I don't get it..

I can't believe she would write that about herself. Is she talking about me? What did I do? Maybe this was written a long time ago and it was about Hayes. I need to talk to her.

After about 10 minutes she came back in the room. She sat down on the bed and kissed me on the cheek and smiled.

"Lexie I found this on your floor..." I said handing her the paper

She took a minute to read it and the smile on her face started to fade. She looked a little concerned. She sat down by me and looked down at the ground. We sat there silently for a few minutes until everything spilled.

"Well Cameron... You are probably obviously wondering who I am talking about and who was in that picture.. I was talking about you... I saw some pictures with you and another girl while you were gone and the picture was also my sister that lives 16 hours away and she was on her way to come visit and got in a terrible crash and passed away.. That's why I got so sick was probably from worrying so much."

Hey guys sorry for taking forever to update. I finally got into my new place and I have been really busy. School just started last week and I am already sick of it..
