Summer Love (Hayes and Nash fan fic)

Chapter 13

We started on the hike and it was all up hill. It was 118 degrees outside, and the sun was directly on us. I had my hair up in a pony tail with white shorts and an ombré blue tank top with my black vans on. Cameron was walking right by me holding my hand. Hayes and Salara were right behind us and Salara was on Hayes's back. I put tons of sunscreen on but I could tell I was still getting sunburnt.

"I think you are getting a little red..." Cameron mentioned

"Ya I know I want to go back."

We finally got to the top and we sat down under a tree and ate our lunch. I was really red. I hurt really bad too.. My shoulders and face were really red. Why was I the only one sunburnt?!

Cameron's POV

The hike was long and tiring.. I was surprised I didn't get sunburnt. Lexie did though and I felt really bad. I could barely touch her without her saying it hurt. We all sat in a circle under a tree and decided to play truth or dare.

"Truth or dare?" Hayes asked Salara.

"Dare!" She said instantly

"I dare you to go kiss Nash."

She went over and kissed him on the cheek.

"You never said where I had to kiss him." She said laughing

"Ugh! Fine!" Hayes said sarcastically

You could tell ashlynn was really mad! She kept glaring at Salara.. I looked at Lexie and she looked as if she was going to throw up.

"Is everything ok?" I asked her

"I don't feel that good.." She replied

She laid down on my leg and before I knew it she got up and ran behind a different tree and I could here coughing and gagging. She came back and her eyes were all watery and looked really pale.

"I think you are dehydrated.." Her mom said handing her a water bottle.

She came back over to me and laid down again. We continued playing truth or dare till her mom said we were gonna head back. Lexie got on my back and I carried her down. It didn't take near as long as we did coming up. We got back and Lexie got off my back and went straight to her original tent.

Lexie's POV

I went and laid down in my tent and I didn't feel all that good.. I was really hot and my stomach hurt. I also felt really nauseous. I wasn't tired I just didn't feel good at all. Cameron came in and came and sat by me for someone to talk to. He didn't sit too close because he was scared he was going to hurt me with my sunburn.

"You feelin alright?" He asked

"Better then I did but still icky."

"You have not had a good time on this trip.. Have you?" He said laughing

"Nope not at all.."

"I will be right back" he said leaving the tent

I wonder where he is going.. I hope it is better than everything else on this trip. I heard him unzipping the tent. He had aloe Vera in his hand. He came over and started rubbing it on my arms and shoulders. As he was putting it on my face he leaned in and kissed me.. It was the best kiss I have had. I didn't know if it was just because I was sick or what but it was different than usual.
