Chapter 17

I was all packed and ready to find an apartment. I got all my stuff in boxes and had just a separate bag to last me at least a week so I could have time to find an apartment. Lexie helped me take my stuff to her house and put them in her garage for now. After we brought the last box we went in and laid on the couch.

"Eww I'm sweaty" Lexie shouted

"Your not the only one.." I laughed

"Would you mind if I ran upstairs and showered?"

"No not at all." I said as she ran upstairs.

I pulled out my phone and saw I had 4 missed calls from Melanie (my ex I broke up with 9 months ago.) so I decided I would text her.

To Melanie: what do you want?

I started to check instagram and almost instantly got a text back from Melanie.

Melanie😡: I miss you babe! Please forgive me.

Why is she bringing this up 9 months later.. I am not going to leave Lexie for her.. Lexie is the best thing that has ever happened to me why would I leave her for Melanie..

To Melanie: it's to late for that. You never had one nice thing to say to me and it was my mistake for ever dating you.

Lexie came running down the stairs in some black leggings and a white t shirt with black bold letters that say "nerd."

Her hair was down and went a little past half way down her back and it was a little damp. She didn't have any makeup on either. She ran up to me and sat on my lap. Until my phone went off she looked at my phone and it was from Melanie.

Melanie😡: please babe!?

Lexie looked at me as if she was about to start crying. She got up and started running upstairs.

"Lexie it's not what you think!" I said chasing her up the stairs.

I got to her door and she slammed the door in my face.

"Why would you ever do that to me?!?"

She yelled

"I didn't do anything! It's not what you think!"

"Then what else could it be? Why is she calling you babe if your not cheating on me?"

"It's my ex we broke up 9 months ago and she texted me today out of nowhere and I have no idea why she is calling me that."

She slowly opened the door with tears streaming down her face...

I might do a double update because I am extremely bored..

I will probably do it tomorrow too because I will be in the car for 10 hours..
