The night was awful. (Y/n) didn't get a single ounce of sleep, she was too worked up. She went back and forth in her mind going over everything that had just happened, and by the time it stopped she had gone through the majority of the night without rest. She felt horrible, physically and emotionally. Her head hurt from all the emotional stress and she started feeling sick about halfway through the night.

(Y/n) sighed as she laid in bed. She admitted to herself that she shouldn't have acted the way she did yesterday, and she felt guilty as a result. She laid silently, until she heard a quiet knock at her door.
"(Y/n)..?" Lilly called from the other side. Ever since yesterday she had been in her room, he hadn't seen her all day. "Are you alright..?" He asked quietly.

The girl glanced back at the door and sighed. She felt guilt and shame thinking about the day before all over again. She didn't want to see Lilly, she didn't want to see anybody. She turned back to face the wall and remained silent, pretending she was asleep.
Lilly sighed not hearing a response from her. Although he may have been cold to her last night, he was truly concerned for her. He couldn't imagine how she was feeling right now. After another moment of waiting he decided it was time to leave. There was no reason to bug her further, she'll come out when she's ready.

(Y/n) let out a relieved breath and rolled onto her stomach. She buried her head into her pillow. She needed to get her mind off of things; she needed to relax. The girl felt her lack of sleep slowly getting her, and was relieved by the thought that she might soon get rest. Eager to get rid of all the horrible feelings she had, she closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths. She felt herself calm slightly. Within a few minutes her breathing was slow, and she could finally find her peace in slumber.

Several hours later, the girl's eyes finally fluttered open. Her vision took its time to focus, and once she was fully awake her body was filled with the empty feeling that came with a long, deep sleep. She laid for a moment, letting her body rest a bit more, before taking a deep breath of air to give herself a little energy. (Y/n) sat up slowly as yawned. She felt better, but now had the ache that came after emotional exertion. Her stomach growled, pulling her out of her hazy, tired state as she realized that she hadn't eaten in several hours. She sighed, and stood up. She might as well get something to eat. (Y/n) looked down to herself tiredly. She was wearing the same clothes from yesterday. After a moment of thought, she decided that she didn't care enough to change, it's not like she did much in these clothes anyways.

(Y/n) left her room and walked down the halls quietly. Weirdly, the halls seemed to be a silent as she was. She walked to the kitchen and found both that room and the dining room empty. 'Where is everyone..?' She thought as she got herself something small to eat.
She finished it quickly, and looked around again, still finding the rooms empty. She sighed and closed her eyes to listen to for anything, and heard a familiar-unfamiliar voice coming from one of the main halls. They were here again.
(Y/n) sighed. She should just go back to her room. She started walking in the direction of her room, but an empty, yearning feeling filled her chest. She stopped. It was against her better judgement, but after a moment of inner conflict she sighed and turned around. She headed in the direction of the voices.

The girl walked slowly, her arms crossed shyly over her stomach. She made her way through the halls and found the same group from yesterday discussing something in the main area. Her eyes locked with kuro's for a moment, he was off to the side by himself, but she quickly looked away. She felt nervous as her feet slowly led her in his direction.
Kuro watched as (y/n) trudged over to where he was. Her arms were wrapped around herself and her eyes glued to the floor. She stood in front of him, and after a moment she lifted her gaze, biting her cheek nervously. He looked at her with the same emotions he had from yesterday, he was unsure of what she was going to do.
(Y/n) looked up to him with a sigh as she thought over her words slowly. "I missed you..." she mumbled shyly.
Kuro looked down to her, his eyes changing from anxious to sad. He had missed her too, but he never brought himself to see her. "I know..." he replied lowly.
The girl sighed, accepting kuro's response. Before she could do anything more, however, Lilly and the others caught sight of her, and Lilly called her over.
She held the same quiet and shy expression as she walked over to them.
"Hey Lilly... hey misono.." she greeted.
"Hello, (y/n)." Misono said.
"Glad to see you finally out of your room~" Lilly smiled. "Now, I feel like I should introduce you to our guest since you two didn't get a chance to meet yesterday~" he said, gesturing to the boy that was standing nearby.
(Y/n) turned to the brunette and looked away slightly. She wasn't good with introductions, nor was she in the mood for it, but she smiled faintly. "Hi.. my name's (y/n)" she said "I'm.. Kuro's subclass.." she mumbled, looking back at the vampire briefly.
"I'm Mahiru Shirota." He said with a friendly grin.
"Sorry about interrupting you guys yesterday.. I shouldn't have done any of that" she apologized suddenly. She didn't want Mahiru to think she was mean since her first impression wasn't exactly a good one.
"It's okay, I thought it was something important.. I couldn't get kuro to speak a word about it when we got home." He replied. The girl felt a little relief from his statement.

Kuro sat down and watched as (y/n) talked to Mahiru and the others. He was glad to see that they looked like they were getting along. His eyes focused more on (y/n). He sighed calmly, he felt his heart fill with emotions.
Even if she might be mad at him, even though he was afraid to be near her after everything happened, part of her was beyond ecstatic to see that she was alive and well after all this time. A great part of him had missed her so much that it began to hurt, and that same part wanted nothing more that to embrace her and keep her near now that it had the opportunity. However he knew he couldn't do that. Now wasn't the time nor place. His overbearing sadness and guilt still hung over him, it tore away at his being, and he needed to get rid of it.

Eventually (y/n) broke off from the rest of the group. She made her way back to kuro and sat down calmly next to him.
"So.." she hummed. "I see you've replaced me.."
Kuro glanced at her with a disheartened look, and took his other form not able to keep calm in his normal state. "Of course I didn't.." he mumbled, turning away from her.
"Hey, I was kidding." She said, picking him up into her arms. He did nothing to acknowledge her. "What happened to you? You can't take a joke anymore.." she commented and pet his fur.
He glanced up to her and sighed, "I.. don't want to talk about it..."
"Kuro.." she mumbled and pet him gently. Now that they were close together she could tell that he was hurting even more than she was. "What happened? You need to talk to me.." she asked.
Kuro closed his eyes for a moment before sighing and moving out of her grasp. He took his other form and looked over his shoulder to her. "....when we get home." He mumbled before walking towards the others.

She sighed and watched him walk away. She felt bad, she didn't know what was wrong with him. She'd just have to wait until-
"Wait.. home?" She asked out loud, standing up and following kuro to the others. What was that supposed to mean?
