Something unimaginable began to happen. (Y/n) watched as kuro's eyes grew wide in an expression she had never seen before, and suddenly, he sped forward, gripping onto mahiru and biting down into his neck. (Y/n) gasped, she wasn't the only one petrified by his actions.
She realized just how bad the situation had grown, and her feet ran towards the servamp not able to stand and witness whatever may happen.
She reached the vampire and didn't hesitate to grab him by the shoulder, "Kuro! Hey-!"
She cut herself off with a gasp as the servamp suddenly threw her back. She cried in pain as her wounds made themselves apparent again. She pushed herself up, looking up to the servamp, shocked. What had gotten into him? Why was he doing all of this??
For a moment kuro's eyes were filled with worry and fear as he looked down to (y/n), but he quickly closed them, groaning in sudden pain. He stumbled backwards, and soon a multitude of dark clouds emerged from him. It began to take the form of a familiar demon, screaming in threat.

(Y/n)'s eyes widened as the demon grew; it leaked a dark substance from its mouth, spilling onto the ground. The girl watched as the dark substance stuck to the ground like tar and accumulated, growing near her quickly. She stumbled, pushing herself back and away since she was unable to get herself up quickly; the dark mass only grew more. It surrounded her, stealing the air from her lungs as it quickly swarmed around her entire body. She gasped for air but none came, it was as if she were drowning. Her vision began to blur, mixing with the black that surrounded her, until a loud gunshot filled her ears.
Suddenly, the dark fog seemed to disintegrate into the air, dropping (y/n) to the ground harshly. She coughed, searching for air before wearily looking up to where she last saw kuro. A tall and dark figure stood above him pinning him down. The girl squinted to see what was happening, but her body was searing with pain. Her vision spun and she let herself fall back down to lay, closing her eyes to try and escape the dizziness she was feeling.

It was a while before (y/n) could pick herself up, and even when she did it was actually someone else who raised her. She sighed mumbling a thank you before looking up to see what who it actually was. She was surprised to find that Envy was the one who had settled everything in the alley. The girl looked around the area, spotting only mahiru and some blonde in a cowboy hat.
"Where's everyone else..?" The girl asked quietly.
The servamp of Envy sighed and mumbled down to her, "they all left while they had the chance.."
"Oh.." (y/n) sighed, slightly relieved. Her eyes shifted from mahiru after she noticed the small cat in his arms. She bit her lip for a moment before making her way over to the eve slowly.
She arrived and stood quietly as the two seemed to finish up their conversation. She didn't pay much attention to what was being said; she was too tired after everything that had unfolded. It was only when the blonde acknowledged her that she tuned into reality.
"Oh well look who it is, glad to see you're alright" he said with a smile.
The girl gave him a confused look. "I'm sorry, who are you?" She asked. The man acted like he knew her, yet she had never met him before.
"Oh" the blonde started, "ya know, I'm just a poor antique dealer~" he said, waving a hand away.
After a brief pause he turned and began to walk out of the alley, speaking as he did. "Well, I best get going." He said, looking to mahiru briefly, "if you ever change your mind about that offer I gave you, give me a call" he offered, leaving the alley with his servamp.

There were a few moments of silence as (y/n) and mahiru stood alone. (Y/n) sighed and looked up to the boy, he seemed upset.
"Are you Okay mahiru..?" The girl asked quietly, he had a few cuts and bruises along with his low expression.
The eve looked up to her quickly before nodding, "Yeah..." he sighed. "You?"
(Y/n) nodded, "I'm fine.." she mumbled tiredly. She watched as mahiru looked down to kuro who was held under his arm. His face grew almost sad.
"But kuro..." he mumbled, looking down to the hurt servamp.
(Y/n) sighed, stepping forwards to touch the cat's fur. She looked up to mahiru and placed her hand on his shoulder. "He'll be fine, don't worry" she assured, trying to make him feel a bit better.
The boy sighed and looked down to kuro once more before nodding to the girl. He looked around briefly, "we should get home.." he mumbled.
     "Right."

Kuro's eyes opened slowly as his ears filled with the monotonous ring that came from rest. He blinked slowly, before pushing himself up to sit. His head ached. The servamp took a deeper breath to wake himself up a bit, before looking around. He was back at the apartment, his room was empty. The air was extremely quiet, and it confused him.
Kuro sighed and dragged himself off the bed, heading to the door to exit. He peered out, there was no noise. He looked down the hall to the other rooms, then in the other direction to the main area. It was already a few hours into the day, so he assumed that's where someone would be.

(Y/n) heard the sound of footsteps from across the apartment and looked up slightly. She was surprised to find kuro standing near the entrance of the main room.
"Kuro" she called, practically running to him before wrapping her arms around him tightly.
The servamp froze for a moment, still slightly dazed from waking up, but soon wrapped his arms around the girl tiredly. She pulled away after a moment, and the servamp looked down to her with a sigh.
(Y/n) watched his gaze, following it down to her own shoulder. She was wearing a tank top so her half-healed wound wouldn't hurt as much.
"It's healing" (y/n) mentioned, trying to ease the servamp.
"It's slow.." he mumbled, gently running his thumb over the wound.
The girl shrugged him off turning so he wouldn't focus as much on her shoulder, "it's better than nothing" she replied.
The vampire hummed and looked down slightly. The room filled with silence for a moment.

"Is.. mahiru alright..?" Kuro asked quietly. Worry and guilt creeping onto his face.
"I think so..." (y/n) replied, looking up to kuro. "He's in his room right now" she added.
     "He is..?" Kuro asked.
The girl sighed, "Yeah, I guess he's skipping school today.. I don't blame him, yesterday.." she trailed off realizing she was getting onto a sensitive topic.
She looked up to the vampire, and noticed as his face turned more to guilt. A sigh escaped her lips as she placed a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, everything's alright.. Maybe you should go check in on him" she suggested. The eve had been pretty worried about kuro ever since the events of last night and would probably want proof that he was okay.
The servamp sighed with a slight nod. Maybe he should see mahiru, make sure he was okay. He turned slowly to head to the boy's room, and as he walked anxiety filled his chest. What if he was mad at him? What if he hated him like the monster he was? The vampire shook his head. Mahiru's a nice kid, he might understand...

Kuro knocked on the boy's door quietly before creaking it open, peering through to the other side. "Mahiru..?" He asked quietly.
The brunette laid on his bed facing the wall. He gave no response.
Kuro sighed, not knowing what he was supposed to do. He decided not to leave, however, and tried to get the boy to talk. "..Since you're skipping school how about a game?" He asked, with still no response. "..I'm even in the mood to move around a bit today." He tired again, desperate to get the boy's attention.
After a long moment the vampire sighed, but he was stopped from leaving when he heard his eve's voice.
"How are your wounds..?" Mahiru mumbled.
Kuro was a little shocked, that was the first thing he'd say to him? "Uhm, they're already healed... I'm a vampire after all.." he replied.
"Right.." mahiru sighed, "you are in fact a vampire.."
Kuro remained quiet for a moment. Mahiru was acting different, he was cold. Was he mad about yesterday? Did he blame him for it all?
"Do you...?" Kuro started, his words catching in his throat, "Do you regret taking me in..? Is that what this is about..?" He asked solemnly.
Mahiru laid still in his bed, replying in the same tone as before, "shut up..." he huffed.

Kuro sighed, not wanting to stand and face the sense of hatred in the air any longer. Of course he'd regret taking him in, he brought trouble wherever he went. Kuro trudged back to the main room, dropping himself down on the couch with a long exhale.
(Y/n) saw kuro's saddened expression and sighed before making her way over to the servamp.
"Kuro.." she called, he only looked down to the floor.
The girl frowned briefly before gently pulling on the servamp, making him shift so that they could both lay on the couch. She rested herself beside him, and he slowly circled his arms around her. Holding onto her relaxed him a bit and she knew it would, he needed someone to be close with when things were too much for him.
(Y/n) could feel a familiar sense of guilt and anxiety radiating off of kuro as he breathed next to her. She shifted closer into his embrace and hummed, "don't worry, kuro.. everything is going to be alright... just let everyone settle down on their own time..." she said, knowing that the affects of last night were the source of his low emotions.
He sighed and held the girl tighter, but decided to take trust in her words. Hopefully later on this weight of guilt will pass, and things will keep moving forwards. He'd just have to wait and hope the forgiveness is possible.
