It was a warm evening in Singapore as the temperature neither seemed too cold, nor soared over the comfortable heat levels. However, Felicia unfortunately had to stay back for practice. The teachers put her in a play performance as part of the curriculum and she didn't seem to like it as much due to her frequent silence and shyness. "You really have to work on your fidgeting, Felicia!" Ms.Spark yelled, whilst being seated in the audience seats. Felicia sighed as she decided to just practice for a few more minutes and then, she knew what she needed the most.

A break.

As she went backstage, the audition she was anticipating the most had begun. It was him. How wonderfully he played the piano, she thought. With each note, various emotions were being revealed and somehow, Felicia felt like she could decipher them. But, she couldn't. That was the mystery.

"You're so infectious, your lips are filled with violence."

He sang, beautifully. Oh, that voice. It made her skin twitch whilst. She was flustered by just listening to his voice. Or worse, she was flustered by just watching him, to elaborate,  watching his tattooed arms play the piano. She was flustered over his peculiar yet, mesmerizing presence. A few moments later, once the performance had come to an end, she held on to the table for her dear life after that literally breath-taking performance.

"I wonder who that song is for. He probably has a really pretty girlfriend." She said to herself. How funny to even think she might have had a chance with him? She chuckled quietly, but slightly dripping with jealousy. Her envy for the if-so situation's girlfriend, was not justifiable, but that did not stop her. After all, she had adored him for as long as he has been there and the fact that he had a significant other who was not her, seemed unimaginably painful.

The applause from the audience pulled her out her well of thoughts as it was as loud. As loud as his performance deserved. It really was harmonical.

The man, with his rather masculine body visible from the suit he was wearing, smiled to himself with triumph and with such veritable confidence as a sly smirk had started to appear as well. He quickly turned his head around to give backstage a passive glance and he spotted her. She realized she was staring and turned her head away rapidly. A blush crept upon her face, or probably even upon her whole body. Her thoughts were once again interrupted by Ms.Spark's screechy voice, "Felicia, it's your turn to audition again, dear."

Felicia abruptly became nervous. How can she perform when he was possibly going to watch her every move? Felicia shyly walked towards Ms.Spark, at the same time, feeling a stare burning at her back. Her footsteps echoed throughout the wooden stage, and she was negligibly trembling. It was almost eight in the evening and all the students had left, except a few who were outside the auditorium and the prop members. She slowly looked back as she continued walking towards her position to perform. She followed the stare backwards until she was met with a pair of eyes.

He was wearing an eye mask which covered his eye line. Those honey orbs stared right through her soul, at least, that's how it seemed to appear like. They were showing an emotion that Felicia was unaware of. In fact, she couldn't even get herself off of the fiery stare. The pull between their eyes seemed to get stronger by each second passing by. It somehow became stronger, the more they gave into the gaze. The man slyly smirk-smiled at her, his eyes still digging holes into her. She wasn't able to make out the feel behind that smile and those malicious eyes. Unsure of what to do, she just kept staring and a smile had started to curve upon her face, gradually.

"Felicia!" Ms.Spark yelled with anger, unable to hold her horses for Felicia, anymore. "What do you think you are doing?" Felicia flinched at the sudden loud voice. "I-I'm sorry, miss." Felicia said, removing her gaze from the man, now towards Ms.Spark. "Start with your line, right away." Ms.Spark muttered, impatiently. Felicia could still feel the the yes lock upon her like magnets. "But miss, how can I practice when there is someone else on the stage? A-And, the piano occupies too much space and I need space to move around while speaking." Felicia explained by giving a silly excuse, still not wanting to perform in front of him.

She turned around again, but this time, she saw him with his eyebrows furrowed. She thought she had probably hurt his feelings by saying that his piano was too huge. Felicia felt bad all of a sudden. "Listen Felicia, I don't know that man. He is not from our school and I'm pretty sure you can still act. It's not like you walk around that much, anyways considering your timidity." Ms.Spark shot back, with a slightly annoyed expression.

Those words suddenly hit Felicia with a decent amount of sadness. She was an introvert and yes, she was shy. She never exactly interacted with people that much. It was that one weakness which always seemed to put her down. Before Felicia could even start acting, the bell rang, indicating it was time for them to go home as the auditorium will close. "Felicia, I am hoping to see a better act, tomorrow. Good bye." Ms.Spark spoke, blankly, before leaving the stage.

Felicia was now alone or maybe, there were just a couple or two people more who probably belonged to the prop team. Felicia looked back at the piano seat to see if the man was still there. However, he was not. He probably left, Felicia thought. She made her way to the backstage to grab her belongings when a voice intervened with her actions.

"You shouldn't be so shy, princess."

She looked back towards the backstage room door only to realize it was that man. That man she liked. Felicia couldn't believe she actually thought of the word like. She did not even know him, how was it possible to like a stranger?

"Err-umm," Felicia was unable to get any words out of her mouth. She was surprised as to how quickly the man had figured out that she was reserved. You shouldn't honestly be this shy, she repeated the same sentence to herself in her thoughts, trying to get her mind together. He looked at her with a small smile. Those honey colored, yet bleak eyes once again caught her own. Felicia just continued staring, but thinking it would be rude, she quickly let her gaze fall to the ground as she felt his presence coming closer.

"By the way, are you from Woodleigh high?" He suddenly asked.

His voice was so beautiful and soothing.

Felicia looked up to again, meet his eyes. "Y-Yes, why?" The man slightly smiled and said, "Oh, I was just asking. I graduated from that school." So, he graduated? She thought. He probably was much older than her, that just lowered the chances of her being with him. "O-Oh, nice." Felicia said, fiddling with her fingers. The man suddenly scooted towards her and held her fingers together with one of his hands, strong enough for her to not fiddle anymore. She could feel his breath hitting her face as his eyes never failed to pierce at her.

"Stop playing with your fingers, kitten." The man whispered, as he came closer to her until her back hit the door making a creaking noise. Felicia felt aroused at that nickname. The man carefully noticing this, displayed an expression of victory and this time, his smirk was devilish. It scared her. "U-Uhm, what are you doing?" Felicia asked, fear evident in her voice. "Shh." The man purred. His face was now inches away from hers.

He was going to kiss her, Felicia got excited at that crazy thought in her mind. But no, his lips traveled to her ear and whispered three words which didn't seem to work."Don't be scared." Felicia was now full of adrenaline. She was full of a feeling of delectation when in reality, nothing was actually happening. She suddenly felt his large hands travelling through the curve of her stomach. She knew he was doing this on purpose. He was doing this to tease her and she couldn't help, but enjoy the torturous moves. His fingers brushed more and more against her until he reached her dress pocket. She felt him drop a note.

He took his hands out of her pocket and placed them on her waist. She shivered at his touch. His touch felt like a sudden rush of pleasure through her veins. The man rasped out, "Read that when you get home." And he disappeared into the darkness, once again.

Felicia was a mess right now. She was confused over what had just happened. Although, being the curious girl she was, she had opened the note there itself.

"I love the effect I have on you, kitten. And no, the reason you didn't act in front of me isn't because of your amusing excuse."

It was clearly visible he knew Felicia felt nervous around him. Felicia fluttered at the thought and made her way home.
