The tall eucalyptus trees surrounded the road as Jason took her away from the city, through the outskirts. The chronicles of her nightmare months back, come running back to her like the lost winds. The nightmare where he kills her. Her heartbeat quickened at the thought of that awful nightmare, the one which gave her sleepless nights for days.
She turned to face Jason, but he was caught up in his own string of thoughts, too occupied to notice the little panic attack that Felicia was currently having. The reminiscence of the nightmare is just making it worse and she just couldn't seem to calm herself down. What if her nightmare was really coming true? Somehow, she managed to stop shivering at her thoughts and gets herself to relax at the faint sound of the car engine roaring.
She wanted to ask where they were going, but realized it might fire up the chain of flaming events from her nightmare. Foolishly, she keeps quiet, hoping for only the good to happened. However, much to her anticipated terror the car comes to a sudden halt and Jason immediately gets out the car, opening the door wide for Felicia to get out as well.
No, this can't be happening, Felicia said to herself, internally. It's all a nightmare, again. It's all a nightmare, Felicia thought. However, her thoughts which claimed that her reality was a nightmare were interrupted by Jason clearing his throat. She quickly looks at Jason, hoping for him to be in a cheerful mood, rather than the monstrous one, the one which she experienced in her nightmare. Obviously, the mood she was most dreading for was visible from his facial expressions.
The moment she steps down, she waits patiently for him to make a move. Instead, he starts walking towards the warehouse, which was currently where they had halted his car at. The surroundings however were different from what she had seen in her dream, as she hoped that this was an indication that the reality of her nightmare coming true was not happening. Despite the small difference, the surroundings seemed dark and gloomy.
Felicia continued to follow Jason in the direction he was walking, but stopped in her tracks. He loved her, right? She asked herself, doubtfully. Was this all a lie? She began to wonder. No, it couldn't be. However, Jason's following actions made her dread the situation even more than she already was. He pulled out the gun, as his body slowly turned towards her.
"I gotta go." Felicia spoke up, before attempting to run away somewhere further away from. Somewhere where she was not under the reach of his hands. But, a pair of hands on her waist pulled her closer to the person, who seemed demonically possessed at the moment. In fact, that was an understatement. He was mentally unstable, she thought.
"J-Jason, I—" Her words were interrupted. She brought herself into the world of extreme horror, when she heard him say the exact same words he said to her in her ordeal during her sleep.
"I don't deserve to live Felicia."
Jason pressed the gun towards his abdomen, his finger on the trigger.
"N-No Jason, you are—"
She was unable to finish her sentence as the trigger was pulled and the bullet had already stricked Jason, which meant that he was going to pass out into death, in a few minutes. Tears started to roll down Felicia's face, her mouth and eyes wide open at what was happening. The cold breeze which flew through her pupils made her eyes feel all gritty and blurry.
Just like her nightmare, Jason pressed the gun against Felicia's chest as he spoke the exact same words, enacting the same actions which were seen by her in her worst terror.
"Now, I wouldn't want to die alone, would I, princess?"
Felicia shook her head frantically, trying to get Jason to stop. She held his hand which held the gun, the weapon which she thought she was never going to touch, in reality. She tried to pull the gun away from her chest, but his grip was too strong and his strength overpowered her petite self. "B-But, I love y-you, you wouldn't—" Jason chuckled ferociously at her loss of words. Soon, he finished singing the line he left off in the verse, the other day.
"Now, it's beyond too late."
The last thing Felicia heard was his melodious voice before the world around her filled with pain and soon enough, darkness surrounded her.
