Narrator's POV
The sun rises as the sky turned orange and the cold breezy air blew into the windows. Birds chirped cheerfully as the sky brightens.
Raven was up early. It was almost typical for her to be up early.
She gently pours a cup with herbal tea from the warm pot she clutched into. The steam from her cup eventually made her sip into it slowly and walked into the window and watched the sun rise.
Her purple eyes gleamed as she dryly stares at the sunrise. Then, she heard a faint bang on the door. Either Luke or Beast Boy's awake, she thought.
Soft footsteps came closer as she continued to look at the rising sun.
"The sunrise is wonderful, isn't?" a soft, devilish voice came upon behind Raven. She swiftly shifted her head and her eyes widened with surprise as she almost drops her cup of herbal tea.
His eyes with a scar on his left eye gleamed devishly as his lips were decorated with a smirk and his fangs were almost vicible. He glared at Raven intensely as he patiently waited for Raven's response.
Raven gaped at him and unmoved, she tried to calm herself and reminded to keep her emotions under control.
Her expression recovered and shaped into a frown, "What do you want?"
Cobra hanged his head and waved his hands slightly, "Oh, just visiting you; since you are the most unpredictable person among the Titans." he raised his chin haughtily.
"Oh, I am unpredictable." Raven frowned more at him.
Cobra gave a loud chuckle as he bowed down, "But the problem is," he stood up and smirked, "I can read your thoughts and your movements. I can read you."
Raven narrowed his eyes at him and clutched tightly on her cup, she was getting nervous and afraid. But she always wears her mask and hid it with her confident and brave expression.
"Say whatever you want, Cobra." she bravely inquired. She stood stiffly as she realised she was cornered.
"I'll say whatever I want, then." he tilted his head, "You can never leave this dimension. Ever."
And with that, he gave a loud devious cackle and a black orb surrounded him and eventually vanished as if he was a hologram. Black swirling glows blinded Raven and gave a loud silence as it disappears. Raven stood stiffly, still frightened. What happened? What will be next? What are they supposed to do?
Then, a door creaked open. It was Beast boy with his polo shirt with floral designs on it. He was intensely rubbing his eyes as he opens them sleepily. His vision was blury and he could tell Raven was already up.
"Oh, you're up." Beast boy started and scratched his head.
His scanned his shirt and found a brown stain on it; he winced, "Oh, man. How am I suppose to get ladies with this stain on my shirt?"
Raven glared at him dryly and said before sipping in her cup, "You're green, you have pointy ears and you have fangs - are you sure it's the shirt?"
Beast boy stuck out his lower lip and started to protest, "Oh, come on! Some girls never go with looks, you know."
Raven turned her back on him and sipped gently on her herbal tea, "It's not only the looks you lack, Beast boy."
Beast boy groaned, "You're no fun."
****
It was early and Beast boy was a bit active than usual. They were out and stayed at the garden for fresh air which Raven complained several times earlier at Luke. Beast boy snugged into the grass beside Raven who was busy reading a book under the tree.
