"Aren't you guys getting tired or something?" Raven finally asked after several round-abouts at the arcade.

"Are you serious? This is cool!" Beast boy exclaimed as he fumbles with the arcade's controller.

"We've been here in the arcade for 2 hours. Isn't that enough?" Raven retorted as she crossed her arms haughtily.

"Shush! It's Jin versus Asuka! This Tekken 6 is so in the house!" Beast boy cheered as he played with his controller and pressed random buttons.

Raven watched the green Titan as he pressed the buttons clumsily. Raven eventually notices that the six year old has been not with them in a minute. She snapped her head in every direction and found her looking at the clear glass at the counter. The six year old girl glanced at the glass which displayed rings, necklaces and all sorts of jewelries as she placed her hands on it helplessly.

Raven shuffles towards the girl and taps her shoulder, "You okay?"

Zoe lifted her head to see the purple haired Titan looking down on her with a flat expression and then she glanced back at the displays, "Nothing."

"You want the ring?" Raven asked as she notices the girl glancing at a beautiful ring with different kinds of letter.

"Mom always tells me that rings are always special because they mean..." she lowered her head trying to remember the word, "Com .. Something 'Com'."

"Commitment." Raven replied, still wearing her expression.

"Yes, that. She said rings seal promises and all sorts. That's why people get married with rings." Zoe looked up to Raven; full of thoughts, "The ring just reminds me of mommy."

Raven felt her heart soften for a minute. She has never felt this way before towards a kid like Zoe.

Even at times where kids care for her, she was never interested at them. Zoe was something else; she thought.

"Excuse me." Raven called at the employee. The employee who wore orange hat and orange vest came forward, "Can I have the ring with a 'Z' on it?"

The employee lowered his back as he slides the window and grabs the ring with ease. He placed the ring on the counter as Raven examines it.

"Try it." Raven said dryly as Zoe gapes at her. Zoe slowly slides the ring on her finger as she glances at it with joy. It was her first time wearing a beautiful ring.

"Wow." the girl drawled as she surveys it amazingly.

"I'll take it." Raven gestured to the employee.

Zoe snapped at her with shock as she gaped, "Wait, what?"

"Let's go." Raven muttered after passing money with the employee. Raven had received bucks from Luke just in case they get lost or anything; but Raven didn't care  getting lost in this huge city.

"Wait. Why did you buy it for me?" Zoe asked, grabbing Raven's cold wrist.

Raven looked at her dryly with her usual expression as she turns to the small girl, "I'm giving it to you because um..." she darted her eyes away - trying to think of a reason, "Because um... I promise I'll bring you home. Commitments are like promises so, I'm giving that to you as a promise. It's a proof." Raven finally says - her voice was becoming slightly gentle.

"Really?" Zoe beamed as she looked at her with such cheerful expression, "Promise you'll take me home to mommy?"

"...Promise." Raven said with a faint smile. She was determined and all, she wanted to take her home with the Titans, no matter what.
